I still think they should have used new aliens, not the Klingons. They don’t look like Klingons, they don’t act like Klingons, and since we know a lot about the Klingons, we know they are cool, so it’s hard to rot against them

Also, this is Alex Kurtzman, a moron who failed with so many movies that he never understood anything and yet they keep hiring him.
I love Trek. I’ve tried watching every episode of this. I hate McFarlane. I can’t get past him. I admire what he did here. I just wish he stayed behind the camera.
Man you’ve been on a tear the last few weeks. Good stuff Michael.
As I’ve said many times before, whites literally cannot exist without antagonizing black people. It is their life’s purpose and without it, all they’re left with is their own inadequacy.
Boom. There it is. Not to mention their deconstruction sucked on top of it.
In my opinion, as long as white men carry the fear of the others “over-powering them” and subjecting them in subjugation, then it’s an impossible notion.
Yeah I don’t know why people thought anything but this.
In fact, if you wrap a puppy in an American flag and put it on top of a pumpkin-spice gift certificate to Starbucks and tell a white woman you’re giving it to a soldier, she will spontaneously orgasm.
I truly doubt any White person who is crazy enough to artificially darken their skin and install a quick weave would not wipe that bullshit off their skin and yank that shitty wig off if they knew all of the infuriating, insane and dehumanizing shit Black people actually go through.
Growing up with a mother with Sickle Cell Anemia taught me VERY young just how racist the white medical community is. Honestly the only surprising part is that they got fired immediately
AHS was never good. The first season was the closest they ever got, but even that didn’t make the cut. Starting with - blech - Asylum they dove headfirst into the aggressive garbage zone.
If you look at the whole situation as it’s presented and you still think there is a place to discuss whether or not this was racist, you’re being willfully ignorant of what racism is.
*Riz Ahmed, not Raz Ahmed.
what difference does it make if its based on religious or political beliefs? we do not live under a dictatorship, and this kid has every right to participate or not. he already has the strength and courage to be a future leader of this country.
DS9 has plain simple Garak and the occasional Q visit. Easily the two best Trek characters EVER.
So that’s why you are always such a pleasure to read. :)
The opinions people post on their personal pages don’t belong to their employers. Perhaps if you were more familiar with how shit like that works you might have avoided making such an obvious blunder. Neither ESPN nor L’Oreal own Facebook or Twitter and as such, posting on either of these media is not using ESPN or…
1) “The boy’s uncle, Lyrik Martin, who also posted photos of his injuries on social media, wrote in a post that he wasn’t sure the attack was racially motivated”
The two perfect castings in that show were Andrew Robinson as Garak, and Avery Brooks as Sisko. Their dynamic in this scene is the best in the series:
