They are not safer than trampolines. While your chance of breaking a bone may be slightly higher on a trampoline, there have only been 6 trampoline-related deaths since 1990. There are hundreds of atv deaths every single year. It’s not even remotely comparable.

I’m local to the Spears’ family...kids of all ages are on ATV’s around here. Kids ride them all up and down my road. My heart goes out to the family...Maddie goes to dance with a co-worker’s child. Sweet girl.

You are 100% right. ATVs and UTVs and golf carts for that matter seem so “safe” compared to motorcycles etc because they are more stable on 4 wheels. They are dangerous for children to drive. (Former insurance claims rep here that handled powersports claims.)

Oh...that would piss me off. If your parents took chances with you, fine. If you took chances with your own kids and they all go out alive, fine. But do NOT take chances with my kid without my permission.

I don’t understand why it would have a seat belt. In what senario is there, other than maybe running straight on into a tree, where you better being strapped to it than just being thrown off it. I saw a plastic snow sled a few weeks ago that had a seatbelt and that also seems like a bad idea.

Do not allow your children to drive ATVs! They are so dangerous that actually no one should be driving them.

As I understand, a voucher is an amount of money the govt gives you to send your kid to a private (possibly religious) school. So if you really want your kid in a private school, and your kids is able to get accepted, and you can afford to pay the difference between what the voucher covers and what the school costs,…
