No need to call 911...

Jimmy Kimmels “Germany or Florida ?” was one of my absolute favorite programs. But this time it would be undecided, because the last road-rage-man-on-the-hood story in Germany happened just a few weeks ago. Nonetheless I would give Florida Bonus points here, because video footage.

Opel/Vauxhall seats and steering wheel.

Imho the Ro80 design doesn´t look innovative or ahead of its time. It just looks like a spooky Citroen. my favorite rotary powered vehicle is this motorbike: Hercules Wankel 2000.

hmm.....I dunno.....this looks like a SYNCRO 4x4

Jason, I must confess I am surprised that you - as proven expert in all things cra...errh Beetle - are not aware of the correct german term here.

Only 42 years later GM made a Cadet with McPherson struts:

Occasionally I am in Switzerland. And there are quite a few Avantis left. They are the cars for the mundane and IMHO they do really fit very nice into the alpine panorama of lakes and mountains. Oh. and they have a club of course.
