Apparently all those car chases were staged/coordinated by the same stuntman. His name was Bill Hickman. He was the driver of the Charger in Bullitt and played the FBI Agent in “French Connection” who was shot by Popeye in the final scene. He also staged all car chases in “the Seven-Ups”.

They were fishing, so it’s quite possible that the whale swallowed fishhooks.

10 years ago I had a Sukida motorcycle. It sported a Honda CG125 engine in a Suzuki GS frame and was very nice.

Right now there’s a project in Germany to rebuild this car. It will be based on original parts from Mercedes 170H, three of which were eventually found at the site of a late car collector.
