AFAIK they produced a thing like this in Mexico. It was called "VW Hormiga" (spanish for "ant").
when I was young I had a Honda N600 which is similar to this Z-Coupe. I drove it for about 6 month or so. The Honda had some problems that made it nearly undrivable. Problem #1: Noise. Impossible to ride without hearing protection :) Problem #2: Doorlocks did not really work. Thats not an error - it was a feature!…
As a german I think this is an understandable claim by Porsche.
