No they had talked to her about this pre-election. I just have avoided talking politics with them for quite a while since we are so diametrically opposed for the most part.

Same. Found out last week from my sister my parents didn't vote for him. It was quite the relief.

Same feeling. Based on his track record I'm sure this rises above the "Drive with jokes" vibe it gives me. That worry is certainly at the back of my mind though.

I agree on that one. I loved all the fresh hop beers for a while but it's gonna be nice when they all finally make their way off the tap lists around Yakima. Looking forward to stout and barley wine season.

I think you are confusing Role Model and Protagonist.

I was thinking the EXACT same thing! A little part of me still thinks that they are going to bust out her getting HIV from him.

I didn't even think about that. My immediate reaction to them kissing was "GOD DAMMIT" which is certainly unique.

Totally agree. Whenever I see someone make the "She's too hot for him" comment I always wonder what version of that point they are making.

I generally agree but there are definitely some stretches that lacked any kind of drama. I feel like he has totally lost interest in standard jokes but hasn't figured out how to properly edit a movie/TV show without them so you just end up with a bunch of dead air.

I have no comment beside an upvote and the acknowledgement of my extreme jealousy.

I think it is in the same category as whatever favor the Captain owed Thackery. We may find out but so far it isn't terribly relevant to the story.

I was thinking condoms.

I believe that the paralysis is only temporary.

I think you are probably spot on with the sex worker thing. Remember when Jimmy took the rent check and deposited it? The look on her face, to me at least, read like she really didn't want to part with that money.

"Olympia" by Edouard Manet. I'd seen little images of it but I happened to walk by it in the Orsay (I had no idea that it was kept there), stopped in my tracks, and did a double take. It's a very striking and aggressive piece. If I remember right it caused quite the uproar when it was first shown and I can see why.
