I’ve been daily driving Grand Marquis’ since 2007 (first a 2006, currently a 2011) and driving them for Uber. They’re great for commuting, road trips, ride-sharing, and fun at the occasional autocross.

The first car I bought was a ‘95 Crown Vic. I miss that thing.
I remember when Jalopnik used to enjoy and encourage car culture
Yeah, like a garage.
Cheap? Yeah, parts for this shouldn’t be too much.
Get fucked dude. No one says they have to accept the generous gift. Sell it and take the cash? Just say you don’t want it?
First thing you should do is learn how to replace a headlight. Second thing you should do is learn about preventative maintenance. The third thing you should do is learn journalism.
Yeah - agreed on that outside color (and dammit, I hate chromies on Vettes) but that tan/black actually makes that interior look less cheap - like the all black plastic bag look that most seem to have

I like how they said brand heritage like anything Jeep offers can match the heritage of running from the police in a white Bronco.
Really depends. Maybe it’s just me, but every time I post a car for sale privately, I regret it shortly afterwards. The sheer number of stupid questions and time-wasters is often not worth the extra $2k or so, particularly if you could have got that $2k back through the tax offset on a trade-in.
I have my reservation in as well, looking at the Black Diamond, also in Velocity Blue. Hoping it’s not a long delay for the color.
Don’t think you can get the manual with the ‘Squatch package.
Although I am surely not the first to comment about this... There is a place on Kinja for political spin and bias, and it isn’t Jalopnik. I had a conversation over the weekend with 4 friends who are all car guys, and we all agreed that the content on Jalopnik is straying further and further from what we want to read.…
Wrangler is sui generis
If they run and drive, they are worth at least 2k each
