@aek8: How is it a bad idea? The women in these countries already go to lengths to prevent rape, including sticking razorblades wrapped in sponges up themselves. This would at least be a much safer alternative for those women.

@dragonfang18: I don't see how that has anything to do with using this device?

@6ironmaiden9: No, I don't think you read correctly. They can be removed from the women easily, it is the men that cannot remove them once they are attached to their penises. The outside of the device is smooth like a tampon. It is the inside that has the quills.

@teflon shepherd: That's it exactly. Rape on women by men is a huge problem in many African nations, so they're starting to resort to things like this in an effort to help the women.

@dallasmay: It's like a hollow tampon. It's smooth on the outside, and the teeth are on the inside. the only person it hurts is the rapist.

@venc: I don't believe it works like that.

@Ninety-9: Same here. We get them all the time and after they sit in front of our door for about two months one of us will finally pick it up and throw it away. Completely useless.

The internet in my loft has been out for an entire week and it's almost, ALMOST, been bad enough that I've had to use the yellow pages.

I feel like I'm the only person in the world who didn't find Jaws scary. Maybe it is because I grew up in land-locked Missouri where there is zero threat of sharks? I've heard people say that Jaws scared them so much they couldn't even go swimming in a pool, and that just never made sense to me. There...there aren't

I really love this sorta stuff. There's something really fun about mixing today's technology with the aesthetics of the past.

@atlasspanked: Hmm, that's very interesting. I wonder what would cause a person to choose a firing squad over a lethal injection.

Hold up, firing squad? I didn't realize that was still a current method of capital punishment in the States.

@Deckard: Same here. I got their first album and was unimpressed, but I could watch their videos forever. They have a great sense of creativity and humor about themselves and I can't help but like them because of it.

@Lysdexia_NoKotakuEdition: I would imagine if any band figured out how to do a low-budget-looking space music video, it would probably be OK Go.

@snark_attack: I don't think any goose has the attention span to stay in one place like that for however long it took them to film those sequences.

OK Go prove time and time again that even if I don't care that much about a band's music I will like them if they have a good sense of humor about themselves and do fun stuff like this all the time. I've yet to see an OK Go video that hasn't been creative and fun to watch. Also their lead singer makes me swoon a

I am in love with Gambit Scruffy.

@NagaJolokia: I think the second Bender is Flexo.

@jinlee: Bender is Colossus!
