Captain America thinks that if you're going to share articles with batshit theories publicly ON FACEBOOK, you should at the very least have the balls to publicly and unapologetically say "Why yes, I do actually believe this shit enough to share it" and not hide behind the weak-ass excuse of "but at least I didn't

I only ever had a twin. Still have one. Even when I'm in a double or a queen, I still sleep as if I'm in a twin. I do, however, sometimes think wistfully of getting a king - but that's so I can share it with a partner and maybe a couple dogs.

My friend has one and it blew my freaking mind when I first saw it years ago. So. Awesome.

The video is the greatest and Otters ARE adorable...but I've had a special place in my heart for sloths ever since my 3rd grade rainforest project. I chose the sloth because everyone thought it was this weird little creature - 3rd-grade me identified very closely with that. haha

I haven't had the chance to use it yet, but I really really like this one. The otter just looks so indignant. (And that's kind of how I felt whenever professors assigned papers/projects on top of each other.)

So I have a really good male friend. Our relationship is completely platonic - if you watch HIMYM, he's a "manatee" - and based off mutual respect and admiration. Last night, we had a little too much to drink, and he started talking to me about his relationship - nothing that was inappropriate, but all still pretty

Jezzies! I moved this weekend! My new place is so much more than I would have ever hoped, I have a great feeling about my new landlord and, so far, it seems like my new roommate and I are going to get along swimmingly.

You aren't alone. Really, truly not alone. I wish I could offer advice or say something like "you won't be a spinster forever!" but I won't because, well, I'm in your shoes (except for poly roommate). I just want you to know that there are women who are your age who, like you, have never been kissed, or had sex, or

I'm not going to lie: I saw this pic, said "DAMN" (out loud, to myself, in an empty room), then expanded it and saved it. I'm not even the least bit ashamed.

TOTALLY, yes. If they're still around and if I ever have a daughter, I'd consider getting her an American doll - along with the books. I've passed on my own copies, as well as the copies of their friendship and body books, to my 12-year-old female cousin (and I hope they do her as much good as they do me) - but I hope

Felicity, Kirsten, Samantha, Addy, Molly, and Josefina were my girls! I loved all their different stories - and I have to say that my love of history was seeded by my love for those books.

Oh no! In that case, have a sea lion showing off her moves.

Aww. Well, in that case, have a sea lion looking all graceful and dancer-ly. (Though he had his eye on my mom's bubbles and scared her by coming out of seemingly nowhere haha)

Oh my goodness, it totally was. Go go go! haha

You totally should! I'll admit that it looked a bit barren when I went, which was kind of disappointing because I wanted to see kelp forests - but this could definitely have changed in the years since (and the captain said that year had been a particularly rough one for the kelp). The sea lions more than made up for

Oh, get well soon, sea lion pup!

bahaha I'm going to make a ton of copies and hand them to my homophobic relatives whenever they start complaining about gay marriage.

This gif basically sums up my reaction to the dog you described.

Awwww. I'm sorry you've been having a tough go of it, lately, (I hope things are going better now!) but man oh man, the doggy head-tilt is one of the greatest things ever. They know, man, they just know when us humans could use a bit of loving.

Oh, do not even get me started on that haha When I lived at home, I was the one who made sure he had food and water, listened to him when he wanted to go outside to pee, gave him belly rubs, brushed him, bathed him, etc etc. But he only had eyes for my mom who would push him away with a sigh. I used to pick him up and
