Ohmigosh, that coop is adorable. It looks like you have a really nice setup!

Oh ok, that sounds similar to my situation. How big was the run, out of curiosity?

Finally convinced my parents that building a small garden is in our self interest! I'm so excited to get started. I'm thinking a few raised beds, along with a compost area and rain barrel. Already designing the raised beds.

If you're after horror, Stephen King's Salem's Lot is always a good read.

Spent some time over tea this evening doing a little networking. Very interesting conversation, got some names to look into, and really makes me feel like I have this 'life-after-college' thing a little more under control. Then went to an event and had a paintbrush war with my roomie. Good things to end a shitty week.

That's fantastic! Congratulations!

Yeah, I had a lot of fresh coconuts in India. Most were delicious, but some of them were really bitter, even if fresh. I feel like packaged doesn't stand a chance because you're mixing all these different ones together.

Canned coconut water is a crapshoot, because real coconuts vary so dramatically. I only drink it from real coconuts; when they're small, it's like sweet coconut-y juice, and is so damn delicious. Don't bother with packaged stuff, get a real coconut and try it from there.

I went through something similar a few years ago; at this point, I'd just go with what works. If it makes you feel better, even it's a placebo, don't stress, because feeling better is worth it.

I've always thought that movie and meal dates are a good way to solve this. Watch a movie beforehand, and then at the meal, if you run out of conversation, you can talk about the movie.

How does it work to get a second bachelor's? Do you go through the whole undergrad experience again? Or is it more like doing a master's, but slightly less crazy? Is it best if you want to look into a completely different field than what you did for your first bachelor's? Or is it more for if you want a degree closely

That's probably a healthier way to eat anyway. Guess I'll just have to be careful over break and see how things go.

We've nowhere to go but up!

Ten more years for me, but I really hope that my experience is as awesome as yours.

One was a sausage breakfast sandwich, the other was a meat marinara sauce.

So I've been vegetarian since the beginning of February (which is a very new thing for me, I usually love meat but my school fails at cooking it). I've only had meat twice since then, and both times I've had horrible stomach cramps hours later. Was this related to the meat? And if so, HELP, because I love meat and I

I'm honestly not sure; I'm using my college's services, and the person there did refer me to a professional place in town. The school person did suggest anti depressants, but I'll have to wait until the professional appt to find out more about those.

Ice cream is fantastic—preserves can also be delicious on top of ice cream. Vanilla ice cream with strawberry freezer jam! Nothing beats it.

The 'about' link at the bottom has a link to it.

I hear you so much, this time of year is awful. Many hugs. I'm currently trying counselling for it, hoping that it works somehow.
