But Giannis’ contract expiration is coming up though....
They are. This isn’t an attack on superstars. They should have that control. They make the league 100% of the money.
There is something fundamentally wrong with player contracts maxing out at 5 years (and the trend for most being essentially 3-year deals) while a team can trade picks that are 7 years out.
Might as well speculate where Paul goes because he ain’t staying in OKC for a rebuild. I’m guessing Milwaukee.
My guess is that there are likely some Brown Act violations revealed here, as well as rules about bidding on public sites.
The “we can’t apply our current values to the past” approach negates all critical theory.
In his (and owners’) defense, it’s possible to have a distaste for the style of play but understand the benefits they provide. But enough about James Harden.
Look I keep hearing it’s plausible that he controls the defense with his communication and tells his PGs what plays to run by seeing the flow of the game and who needs the shots.
Clearly you missed the point of my comment. And since I am a very important and very smart person on the Internet, let me reiterate my comment so that you, someone who clearly has wrong opinions, understands: I don’t think he controls the defense with his communication and does not tell his PGs what plays to run by…
Hate to be the contrarian here, but I don’t think he controls the defense with his communication and does not tell his PGs what plays to run by seeing the flow of the game and who needs the shots nor do I think there’s a reason why he’s always atop the plus minus of his team. It’s the big things, and not screening to…
These teams need to take a step back and see what they’re missing.
The argument that it was a bang-bang play is ludicrous. Lucroy clearly choose the top half of the plate, and Marisnick was still a good distance away to readjust and aim for the back part.
I will not be satisfied until i see a five on the floor of Kuzma, Cousins, Davis, McGhee, with Lebron at point.
IDK it if good or bad. Time will tell and all that, but it feels like Presti just dropped his best player (a guy he gambled a lot on in trade) only to be in a worst position then he was before the Paul trade.
The Lakers will be the greatest accumulation of forwards and centers the league has ever seen.
Trading Paul is giving up. He was their best player.
It’s crazy to think that OKC would punt their legitimate title shot next year to throw a gear in the Lakers’ plans . Maybe the thought is that if Kwahi goes to the Lakers, there’s not a shot anyway, I suppose?
IDK but that sounds right. I have to believe the sports writers in that area have a lot of old-man-yells-at-cloud hot takes.
It’s really bizarre to me how many people are pulling the bad chemistry card when the only place he was malcontent was with a cheesedick Sacramento organization, who kept making baffling moves around him.
