Confirmed: Lacob to sell Warriors.

Using “entitled” wrong in the second paragraph is grammatically wrong but inherently accurate.

There’s a part of me that thinks the Butler and Harris trades impacted the statistics a bit (as I yell “small sample size!”). IMO It was less “the offense didn’t work” and more “these guys played all of 30 games together, start to finish.” Redick-Embiid worked because they knew it worked, if that makes sense.

Love it. KD leaves money on the table to be on the 2nd or 3rd best team in the East for the next 3 years.

...in 2021.

I remember watching the World Series in London the year the Angels won it, and the cutest thing happened during games: in between innings, BBC2 would cut to two guys, sitting behind a desk, explaining the rules of baseball, particularly ones directly impacting that game. It was great!

As much as replay can blow, I like the idea that it should always cost a timeout no matter the outcome and a coach only gets one. This small nuance discourages using it only in obvious scenarios.

Kyrie can’t be coming. I think those rumors are just there to stoke a bigger contract from Brooklyn. Similar to how the “Boston is the frontrunner for Kemba” reeks of an agent trying to gain some traction from the Lakers, who don’t need someone like him for the cost.

Finally bringing my two favorite Jims together to form the ultimate tandom:

It’s complicated, but it’s possible with Klay out for a 6 months to a year. They run Russ/Steph/Green then get back to 100% when Klay’s ready, all while getting some youth, depth, and defense.

I wonder if what ends up happening is Irving signs and the Warriors sign-and-trade Durant (and Iggy?) for Russell and all those fun, cool young guys.

You think it stings for the Canadian team to know that Americans got more love than they did in France?

Or, and hear me out, it will because a lot of national quality recruits will transfer to California schools in order to get paid, ban or no ban.

Iggy and Livingston were also very good and made something in the neighborhood of $10-12M.

I sincerely hope he’s good. I just don’t have confidence in him reaching his potential, with him playing for the Knicks and all.

Feel like Barrett will be the bust of this draft while everyone asks “How did Bol Bol slip so far down?”

Contract amounts are not the same or indicative of player quality. Lebron makes $38M per year. Is he “$7M better” than Kyle Lowry?

Here’s a short list I’ve got: Dragic, Rubio, Rozier, Brogdon, Beverly, Ish Smith, Green, Ross, Hood, Seth Curry, Lamb. Obviously not a perfect list but Rozier and Brogdon would be solid gets. Beverly would be a great fit.

I have no clue their obsession with a third major star. Spend that money on two quality second tier players and fill out the roster. Toronto literally just won a title with one superstar and a lot of very good guys.

I mean I think we should have saw this coming when James burned Chris’ kitchen down.
