I’m curious what track and comparison you’d point me to that has a 718 S beating out a 981 GT4? C&D had the 718 GTS nearly three seconds behind, and the 718 S another second and a half below that.

Exactly - the Big 3 are tied to the dealers more than they would prefer. Direct sales would cut out a significant middleman that many people don’t find value in, which means more money for the OE.
S/X volume changes don’t really matter because of how much higher the 3 volume is in general. If you make 10x more of something, it’s going to set your ATP all by itself.
It’s entirely possible that wasn’t a designed “weak point” but is actually the pair of studs used with shims for camber adjustment. Cup cars are absurdly safe though, you can read stories about 150 MPH crashes where the driver walked away without a scratch.
I have a car that has both a factory 3-point and a true harness for track use. I bought buckles (matte ones, not those) to use to disable the vehicle pinging when I’m harnessed in, because whether or not the vehicle knows it I’m very well restrained.
Even if there are no major changes, there might be minor changes where a MY is a really easy way to distinguish, for example, that your vehicle has a hydraulic belt tensioner instead of a mechanical belt tensioner, which obviously isn’t major until you need to replace it and end up with the wrong part because of a…
Take this with a grain of salt, because it’s an older and neglected bike, but I can confirm that my Ducati has both broken and tried to kill me in an alarmingly short time period. It’s great when it works though!
They haven’t taken it down. You just have to click through to Youtube to watch it. Liberty has actually been much better about posting such things, but I think it’s hardly fair to complain that they want you to do so on their platform (or at least more “theirs”).
Um, that’s probably just false, considering it’s a 3000+lb car with hydraulic assist. I’d bet it does not compare favorably to smaller, lighter cars with unassisted steering (by design, not by failure).
He’s stretching a little bit (or a lot), but compare an early F30 or even a late E90 to the new generation 3-series. They’re less different in appearance than the age might suggest.Certainly comparing an E30 to an E46 or an E46 to an F30 doesn’t get you nearly as close.
Okay, that dude is somewhere between dumb and crazy, with a side helping of EXTREMELY ballsy. I can’t imagine driving half a freaking lap with the car on fire behind me.
To be honest, that’s my biggest issue with it. They called the penalty for unsafe re-entry, and when challenged, DIDN’T CITE AN UNSAFE RE-ENTRY. If they’d called the penalty as blocking in the first place, I think there would’ve been much less uproar.
Buy a 4.0 WJ. In 2016 I bought (less than 10 miles from your house) a 4.0 WJ 4x4 with something like 110k miles for ... I don’t remember exactly, but around 2 grand. Already a great deal. I drove it for a year and a half, and sold it for 4 grand after doing only the following: new tie rod ends+steering damper,…
I’m gonna be that guy. Is it a nice save? Absolutely. Is it something your average driver could do? Certainly not intentionally. But for a pro driver, “unreal” just isn’t true.
Assuming they’re the same as what’s on the GT350/GT350R, (Y) ... ie good for 186+.
Eh, I take a more nuanced approach - I DO NOT use moving disposables from HF. Things that are designed to wear away lik grinding wheels most of all. But the actual moving tools themselves are often plausibly usable - A grinder from HF is what I use for wire wheels (as long as the wheels themselves are bought…
Strictly speaking, I think that 400k is global, not USA-specific. Most of those brands were still lower even if you do compare to Tesla’s US numbers, of course.
Your brakes (fortunately) aren’t an ugly green. And you’ve got different wheels than me, but otherwise we match too.
For better or worse, I don’t think Ford HAS a smaller V8. Turbo has been the name of the game on anything smaller.
What do you think was at the auto show? GAC owns Trumpchi, and these definitely had some parts on them labeled “Trumpchi”.
