Ok. LMGTFY.

This is sadly not uncommon. The scantily clad dancers is a bit over the line, though.

I am female, with an especially young-girl-sounding voice. Whenever anyone gives me flak of any sort (“OMG! A GIRL!!!” etc.), I pretend like I’m a pre-pubescent boy who just had his feelings hurt. At the very least, it seems to confuse them into silence.

I totally agree, he looks utterly freaked and bewildered, but as seen in the story someone posted below, he went to get help and then came back and held the baby while the clerk attempted to help the mother. And he looks REALLY awkward holding the baby, so you know it wasn’t easy for him to do. Two thumbs up to this

I’ve known plenty of women who lose their shit and plenty of men who do an amazing job of pulling it all together. Gender stereotypes hurt all of us.

Actually, despite their ideological differences, they were apparently very good friends. I think there’s a lesson in there somewhere...

Tumbler meme -> book. Good book, too! I got the Audible version. Thumbs up.

A couple of my friends SWEAR by the sublingual. It’s pricey, since insurance generally doesn’t cover it, but they’ve found it tremendously effective. I’m looking into it for myself.

Are you using fabric softener on them? If so, stop - in making the fabric soft and static-free, it coats the fibers, making them less absorbent. Give them a rinse with a little vinegar instead and they’ll soak everything right up!

Isn’t she an American actress?

I made some of my best and oldest friends playing ridiculous amounts of World of Warcraft. We get together at least once a year, even though we live in other states. There is zero chance of us having met if we hadn’t ended up on the same server and then in the same guild. I am extremely grateful for all those

Not to mention: “Why don’t you just go with the poor woman to help her care for her baby every day?” Because DCF is notoriously over-funded and under-burdened, right?

Julie Delpy has somehow gotten this far in life without ever having seen, heard of or met a black woman. Are we unicorns? Do we not exist? We’re apparently just myth.

I thought this article was going to be about someone whose job it was to pamper the star of the show, and then it wasn’t about that at all, and I was sad.

Yeah I think it’s totally legit, but it does emphasize their dissimilarity, to me at least. If that’s what they’re going for, cool! I’d be surprised if it weren’t an awesome production - seems like a terrific bunch of actors.

<3 you too! you seem sweet.

I never claimed to be a “hardcore fan” so I will now freely admit - I have no idea who that is. :p

For me, the lack of continuity bothers me a lot. If they make Ron non-redheaded it will bother me the same way. If this were a brand new character, I’d be all for it, but I am really disappointed they didn’t pick actors that look more like the original cast.

In “Yes, Please!” she talks about how the SNL makeup or costume people enthusiastically told her she has “a good face for wigs.” Which was supposedly a great asset for her on SNL. She was, however, less than thrilled with the “compliment” ;)
