I’m not sure why some feminists feel the need to mock domestic things like ironing, cooking, baking, etc.

Do whatever the eff you feel like and stop wasting life reading stupid internet polls filled with bitter people who like to rage-hate about weddings :p
No, you can get a work permit. (There are restrictions. )
“Hey, I know this may sound excessive, but would you mind humoring me by making sure you wash your hands after you pee? I know, crazy, right? But it totally drives me nuts* and I’d super appreciate it if you just indulged me! Thanks!! <3”
The issue of name recognition can be frustrating too. A paper from a well known author can have terrible blots and still get published no problem, but a paper from a less well known group will take a hit for something small.
So you don’t travel at times when tickets cost $2018. And no, no travel insurance, it’s rarely a good use of money. There are ways to travel on a serious budget, just like there are ways to buy clothes or electronics or whatnot on a serious budget. But nothing is free, and it’s still a luxury. Just one that some…
I once ordered a side of extra meat so I could give it to my dog for training treats. My dog took one whiff of the “roast beef” and walked away, disgusted. And this is a dog that thinks cat poop is delicious.
When I was 8 I was in a hat store with my dad, found a giant costume-type hat in the shape of a condom, put it on, and proudly ran around the store proclaiming, “I’m a balloon!!!”
What is with all of these couples who have company while pooping?!? I. would. die. In my relationship, this would only be acceptable for either of us in the case of the most dire of gastrointestinal emergencies. We've been together 12 years. We share many things, but bathroom time is not one of them!
You need one of these! http://smile.amazon.com/Sinkware-5049-…
Oooo I bet I know that venue! Can you share pics? If it's where I'm thinking, their brochure was absolutely gorgeous.
Pics!! Must have pics!! :)
Yes, for a big party. That employs a bunch of people, who get to do things like cook, serve, make music, and decorate for a living. I'm currently making about $20k a year, and to those who are spending $60k+ - more than I have made in the last 3 years combined - I say, good for you, I hope you had a really nice time…
Please post pictures?!
Mine (~$30k including rehearsal dinner, honeymoon, etc.) I would say was definitely worth it. It was also basically a family reunion - the first in about 20 years. Everyone had a blast and is still talking about it, 3 years later.
Totally agree - we had everything from salad tongs to All-Clad cookware. We loved everyone's contributions. Some people gifted us with fat wads of cash, some with a book or a board game. Some with just a card. We just loved that people were thinking of us <3
Day-of is plenty, IMO. I hate planning and still didn't get a planner, and it was totally fine. What do you really need them to do? Hold your hand? That's what friends are for!
No excuses ever needed, for up-spending, down-spending, whatever!
If you were really meant to be together, you wouldn't have needed those gorgeous hydrangea centerpieces. True love is a mason jar filled with wildflowers you picked yourself.
Face cleansers - I recently discovered the Lush herbalism cleanser, and it's been fantastic for my sensitive/oily/dry skin. http://www.lushusa.com/Herbalism/9999…
