You made The Bridges of Madison County, Clint. You want to talk about "pussy generation."
Have to agree with this. Plus, it gives them an opportunity to introduce other characters on the show. That could actually work to a huge advantage going forward.
I don't agree with the takes on the characters at its essence, but it is good storytelling. But that particular issue completely tosses out the narrative of the series and shows us Superman before he become the mess in Injustice. It's one of the purist versions of classic Superman seen in the modern comics in the…
But then they let Tom Taylor write something like Injustice: Gods Among Us #30, and it gets everything right. Of course, it's buried from the majority public consciousness in a weekly digital comic based on a video game, and on top of that, is a complete departure from the main narrative of the series at the time. …
The worst thing they could've tried to do, no pun intended, would be to filter the '50s through a modern sensibility. The deconstructionist, cynical, ironic take that the modern offers, particularly through humor, would kill the vibe of the musical itself.
The stage show was forever altered by the movie, as well, starting with revival productions in the '90s. So, aping the movie isn't exactly out of context here.

That was way more Superman than Gough and Millar ever intended to give the show. I'm actually surprised we got to see Superman in action as much as we did in the finale.
Ouch. Hope you didn't hurt yourself too bad straining to make that one work.
What an inane headline.
The book was definitely better.
As a Hispanic, I'm saddened at the overwhelming love for Transformers here.
It's a notification, not an achievement. Does it every time you record a clip.
'Whatever' still holds tops for me, but 'Reinhold Messner' is a superbly done concept album. The musicianship in 'Messner' spoke volumes about what Ben fully offers the world. And Darren and Robert as well. (I love how great the three sound on the three "new" songs they recorded for 'Best Imitation' and really look…
I'm left trying to figure out how it comes anywhere close to self-parody.
'Has Been' is one of the true "lost" gems of the '00s. A truly fantastic album.
