The problem with Jazzamatazz is that Gangstarr already did it ten years earlier. Gangstarr owned jazz inspired hiphop whole cloth which lead to producers resubscribing the funk and soul. Which is is a good thing because it motivated Pete Rock, RZA, Dilla, and Kanye.
