The nice thing about multitasking in computers is that you can play your own music while you watch the video. I listened to a cover of Paula Abdul’s “Straight Up” by some artist calling himself Poopmaster. That’s the beauty (or horror) of freedom and possibility. Spread your wings, Patrick! Don’t submit yourself to…
“Yes I know a tool exists to fix what I’m bitching about, but I don’t want that tool”. Classic.
I want every physical release to be a collector’s edition. Particularly if the digital version costs just as much as the physical version.
And if you’d like a second opinion:
Where’s One Punch Man? I guess that poll you put up was irrelevant...
“’I can’t tell you that you can play the whole game without violence – that’s not necessarily a goal of ours,’ Howard told The Guardian.”
Then you didn’t intend to make a Fallout game.
Considering how often I see gamestop employees standing around holding onto their dicks every time I go in one, you must be the only one they ever successfully tricked into doing your job.
“Where the prequels felt sluggish and heavy-handed”
Because they aren’t exactly like the OT like this movie is trying so hard to pander towards in every way possible?
People are too afraid to imagine SW outside of this little bubble view of the universe presented in the OT.
Um, you will NOT take away the fun I had with EU, no matter how hard you try: stranger on the internet. It still exists, and it still means something to me. Fuck Disney and George Lucas. Everything exists concurrently. No-one ruined my childhood, or disappointed my adulthood. All of nature is as it should be and…
I still grief over the loss of Revan. I mean when you follow a character who seemingly lived in the world for a long time and made his legacies, then see him gets completely deleted from the world, every single trace of him, it’s very disheartening.
I’m more worried that because overall the prequels didn’t appeal to these new filmmakers, things that emerged from that continuity, like the hundred thousand year conflict between Jedi and Sith, the Old Republic, Revan, Darth Plagueis... etc... are just now gone.
I’ve seen it, and I did not enjoy it. At all. No spoilers: Some moments play out in such a cliche manner that I was waiting in certain scenes for events to occur, because I predicted them minutes earlier, sometimes an hour earlier. I did not like it, and I’m prepared to raise my voice against the masses come Friday. I…
That was the whole purpose of an expanded “universe”. To tell background stories that people wanted to hear through world building. It’s 30+ years of fiction down the drain, and some of those stories don’t even affect the movies.
Now to just correct the one mistake with this article:
