That’s weird, because I can’t tell you how many times I’ve had to deal with overt racism in Boston. From my perspective as a visitor, that liberalism goes about as far as the end of the bar--unless you’re off-white, in which case you’ll frequently be asked to leave.

And those protests grew. This will grow. We’ll get stronger.

We almost had that already. Trump proposed a Soviet-style military parade, tanks and all, for the inauguration. Cooler heads prevailved--mainly by telling him Pennsyvlania Ave couldn’t take the weight of the heavy machinery. Considering that Trump is already forming a private White House militia in lieu of the Secret

Thanks. It’s reporting like this that keeps us all in the know. It’s invaluable.

I enjoy this comment, but I don’t know why.

I really think we’ve gotten off track, here. Please, people. Remember the sky is falling. Stay on topic.

Lol pension. Anyway, the prototypical Rust Belt Trump supporter is out of work and has been for a while. These aren’t your typical stock market players, but I’m sure a few of them are happy that the $20,000 they’ve got socked away just turned into $20,800 over the last month or so.

Pro tip: If the GOP House has its way, the mortgage deduction goes bye-bye very soon. If it does happen, this will negatively affect housing prices--and, of course, the tax breaks you may count on to afford the places you’re looking at.

Yeah. It was Adequate Man, not The Concourse.

Yeah. Get the insurance before your pet turns one, and you’re usually covered for breed-specific health problems. After that, not so much.

Trupanion has been good to me, and I’ve got a (pretty healthy--but originally somewhat defective) bulldog, so I feel like I would know if I were getting a raw deal. I’ve never had a problem with them.

Any one who doesn’t live in constant fear he’s not good enough for the woman he’s dating, I’d think.

Oh my fucking god. DREAM WOMAN.

Just saw this post about my second-favorite movie.

You’re making the distinction that one major candidate supported the Iraq War, omitting the fact that the subject of this article did. So what really is your point?

I don’t understand your distinction. Trump was a supporter of the Iraq War, even if he didn’t get the opportunity to vote for it in the Senate.

Counterpoint: No one said they’re outrageous. They’re just idiotic.

Yeah. It’s a little thing in comparison to the thrust of the article, and maybe pedantic. Just setting the record straight, I guess. No harm intended to anyone.

Except when it isn’t. She writes much more than that—hence the aversion to pigeonholing.

She hated being called a surrealist. . . .
