That’s interesting, as the treaty for the Colorado River water supply gives rights to certain amounts of water to specific states. . . .
Smugness + unfounded “ownership” of state water supply have to be two of the most repugnant truths of Bay Area residents.
Yeah. Get the insurance before your pet turns one, and you’re usually covered for breed-specific health problems. After that, not so much.
Trupanion has been good to me, and I’ve got a (pretty healthy--but originally somewhat defective) bulldog, so I feel like I would know if I were getting a raw deal. I’ve never had a problem with them.
Any one who doesn’t live in constant fear he’s not good enough for the woman he’s dating, I’d think.
Oh my fucking god. DREAM WOMAN.
Just saw this post about my second-favorite movie.
You’re making the distinction that one major candidate supported the Iraq War, omitting the fact that the subject of this article did. So what really is your point?

Like, down there weird, or just weird?
This confuses me. To whom are you referring when you say someone neither served in the military nor served time in jail?
Can you explain the geography to the people who drive up and down Mission Street in SF honking their horns when the Warriors win a title? Because they seem to claim the team as their own.
I don’t think a dog will love you more or less because of where it came from, though. It’s a dog. It’s stupid, and it’s grateful, no matter what (usually). It’s not like the shelter dog has such a fine memory that it lies awake at night remembering the horror of prison.
