100%. it’s one of those ‘well actually’ arguments that if you keep tugging on makes you look ever worse.

I had zero desire to see it but I was visiting a friend and he kept harping on how we should watch it. We put it on but didn’t get entirely through it. Then I went home and had absolutely no desire to finish it.

Love the meme, exactly what I thought when i read the title of the article. I can respect not being mad at it but i know it wasn’t going to land well or everyone agree when the article is going a step further, saying the ending was too ahead of it’s time.

Yeah it looks kinda bad for Snyder if more people actually saw his instantly forgettable movie and not a single one of them actually talked about it.

One thing I will never do is buy another car in white / black / grey / silver. Cannot stand how every car looks like it’s been printed by a laser printer. Last three cars I purchased new for myself were a 2011 Cayman (red), 2015 Mustang (blue), and 2024 Palisade (green). My next car will be yellow.

Probably forgot it because it wasn’t originally an option. They added it in the extended cut. Originally there were in fact three choices and no option to deny them. Shepard had to pick one to finish the game.

I liked the idea behind the original endings, but the execution was terrible. For one thing, they showed the mass relays exploding in the wake of the Catalyst firing which not only ends interstellar travel, but also, thanks to ME2's DLC, we know sterilizes the solar system that housed the relay. So good job killing,

I’d add that the endings wound up just being the dialogue wheel options again. Same color options plus a ‘walk away’. None of the franchise-long promises about your choices mattering actually happened. Everything was pushed towards a readiness score that you could boost through multiplayer or a mobile game so nothing

4 endings. You could also choose to walk away and not choose any of the 3 choices presented to you. I feel that’s important to mention when so many people often say that all 3 choices were bad and that their shepherd wouldn’t choose any of them. You have that choice too, it may also not be a very good one, but often

It wasn’t about the choices we made, it was about the Marauder Shields we lost along the way :(

I feel like the point some are trying to make surrounding AI is “Eh, some people might lose their jobs, but that’s fine.”

‘If the buggy whips are no longer necessary what are the people who processed the cane for the handles going to do?!’

I just plain don’t get the reflex to go to bat for basically any fucking use of AI. It makes no sense. It’s like wandering into a thread on opioid addiction, and saying “Oh, so I guess we’re just ANTI-MEDICINE now!?”

I find your ‘I don’t like progress and don’t understand that automating people out of sub cost of living jobs is a good thing’ attitude irritating, thanks.

Ah yes - certainly agree with that.

FFVI is the definitive Moogle.

It’s because if I wanted to order from a machine, I’d pre-order from my phone. Not talk to one pretending to be a human. Don’t be a cunt about it.

Subway kind of had it figured out when they were pitching themselves as a healthy(ish) budget lunch option. I feel like the food quality was better, but now it seems like they’re trying to compete with actual sub places, but there’s just no comparison to a place like Jersey Mike’s or Firehouse.

I have a hard time believing that people won’t go to a restaurant just because it’s not updated in an aesthetic sense.
