You do you, but I (and I guess a majority of players, based on their decision to keep it) would have been disappointed if they had removed it. I think it really added a lot to the gameplay and environment.

Yeah agreed - especially when I got Revali’s Gale, it was pretty much always easier and more fun to get somewhere high up and then jump (or just use fast travel) than a horse. I did have a horse just to have the experience, but I never relied on it.
Possibly, I don’t know much about that specifically. I was more referring to removing built-in racial traits and alignment to prevent the “this whole race is evil, so if that’s like this real life race, you’re saying they’re all evil” comparisons.
Looks like the Pixel 7a has finally dropped the 3.5mm headphone jack, I know that’s why some people have stuck with the “a” line rather than the mainline Pixels. Doesn’t bother me at all but I did want to note - that may actually be a reason for me to upgrade to the 7a or 8a when I want to replace my Pixel 6, I don’t…
Oh definitely, there’s a TON of, like, background racism in D&D that can and should be examined (though newer editions have done a lot to try and mitigate this). Also, theoretically, shouldn’t a subterranean race of Elves be very light-skinned, not dark skinned?
The thing is, when a show is made for adults, they’ll usually understand when something like this is satirical. Like, the point was 1) Chang is dressed up as a Dark Elf and 2) he looks like he’s in blackface but isn’t. That’s not hard to grasp. I don’t really have a problem with a content warning being added just to…
Extremely difficult to say, the Zelda series has played such a big part in my life and a lot of the games are special to me.
The only thing that makes sense to me about why we don’t have Wind Waker and Twilight Princess HD is that maybe Nintendo didn’t want to oversaturate the Zelda market on the Switch. The Switch has three (soon to be four) first-party Zelda games: Breath of the Wild (2017), the Link’s Awakening remake (2019), Skyward…
Whatever you do, avoid asking it about math - it’s a computer, they run on math, so it should be good with math, right? Wrong, since the information in the engine comes from words, they’re actually very bad with actual mathematical calculations.
Probably, though it depends on the dealership. Keep in mind that dealerships make money when you finance a car, so even if you have the money to buy a car in cash, they’d prefer you take on a loan and may sell you the car at a better price to make that happen. And this is one step further, you’re trading in your car…
Arrested Development to me feels like a revival more than an un-cancellation. It came back seven years later on a different network/platform and with a different format.
To be fair, American Dad exists specifically because of Family Guy’s cancellation - that’s why the early seasons were just “Family Guy but with more political jokes”, MacFarlane created it to replace Family Guy. But they un-cancelled Family Guy while American Dad was being developed, with MacFarlane switching almost…
I think you’re giving the article a lot more credit than it deserves. If that’s the intended reading, it did not give nearly enough to indicate it.
OoT Dark Link is a tricky fight, though I think I’ve always had the Biggoron’s Sword every time I’ve gone against him, which makes him a little easier since he can’t mirror that.
Similar with Majora’s Mask, I don’t know that I’ve ever actually fought him without the Fierce Deity Mask. I’ve beaten both games several…
Yeah, like I said he’s definitely still worth criticizing and this move still deserves some scrutiny, but the “Beast = Musk” tone of this article feels way off to me.
I’m no fan of Mr Beast and I’ve been critical of his “let me help people but only in order to get Youtube views” scheme in the past but legit the comparisons to Elon Musk are unfounded and is making him out to be much worse than he is.
I don’t know that I’d say that I do love podcasts, at least as a genre/format. There are several individual podcasts I love (Rude Tales of Magic, Oh These Those Stars of Space, etc) but as an “audio entertainment on my phone” format I vastly prefer audiobooks to podcasts. You get a whole story, divided up by chapters…
No way man, I saw Parasite.
Yeah, that’s one good use I’ve seen, but I just don’t have any interest in that many potted plants.
I gave it some “order of operation” tests, like basic arithmetic that can go one way if you know the order of operations and another if you don’t. Not always, but often it got those wrong. I asked it how it got its answer and it would correctly list the order of operations and then incorrectly repeat its math steps. I…
