Both Pokedex entries mention that it dances like in far away places, so at least they acknowledge it.

I immediately got “dance fighter” from it, so even if it’s intended to be more Samba, it’s all thrown in there a little.
I realized when leveling up my Pawmo that hitting B to sneak around is an easy way to allow your Pokemon to keep up with you (or at least easier than only tipping the analog stick the exact right amount to walk instead of run). And if you do it in a city, there’s no chance of it encountering wild Pokemon.
Agreed, if there’s going to be this many crazy evolution types, they need to have a means of viewing them in-game. Maybe have some Evolution Master who knows how every Pokemon evolves, but you have to talk to them and maybe pay them a fee. You talk to him and show him a Pokemon and he’ll tell you if it evolves or not…
Just got Quaquaval, haven’t had a chance to use him in battle much but I love the design - dance-fighting Capoeira duck, great concept.
I don’t know if I’ve ever had the heart to ditch my starter, TBH. Starters always have solid stats and picking them is always such a big deal in the game that I get attached.
My first thought when I got from Quaxly to Quaxwell was “ugly duckling” so my fingers are crossed that the final form has a swan-level reveal.
It’s Pokemon, unless you’re playing competitively it just doesn’t matter. Pick the one you think looks coolest and go for it. And for the record, I found no trouble getting early-game fire-types (currently on my team is the dual fire/grass type Scovillain to work alongside my mid-evolved Quaxwell, but I also got a…
I’ve been trying to keep myself pretty unspoiled for the new gen 9 Pokemon (still don’t know what my Quaxwell evolves to, hopefully it’s not the massive step down that Quaxly was to Quaxwell), but I had to look Pawmo up. So yesterday I tried to get a ton of steps with mine, but as you specify here, I was apparently…
I never flew pre-9/11 and the thing that always gets me about “old” movies/shows is meeting someone at the gate. Like, they’d just let anyone that far into the airport without a ticket? Whoa.
It’s a lot of fun! I bought Violet on launch day, despite the bugs, and have been enjoying it a lot. And I haven’t experienced anything on the scale of the really bad bugs, though it’s not like I haven’t seen plenty of texture popping, framerate slowdown, etc in my ~7 hours.
Right, if this were a shady briefcase full of unmarked bills, then yeah definitely. All this guy realistically did was let them confirm what happened with the check and, if they hadn’t already, ask for a replacement.
Agreed, anything based on Google Trends is entirely inaccurate, it just shows what people are searching, not what they actually like.
I’ve played it for a few hours and in my experience the graphical bugs aren’t as bad as the Entire Internet makes them seem. Most I’ve had are a little bit of clipping through hills or disappearing cloud shadows - it sucks and I agree that the game should have been delayed rather than being released in this state, but…
I kinda get why they have been dropping them, they’ve been basically improving on the same formula - enhance one Pokemon once a battle.
If a store has a sign that says “please leave your carts wherever the hell you want so that our minimum wage employees can stay busy”, yeah I might go for it. But they have the corrals. They have spots inside where you can take them. They have a limited number of parking spots and walkways that are designed to not be…
My first exposure to the trolley problem was in the season two episode of The Good Place that shares its name. Ostensibly a comedy, The Good Place was interesting in its first season before morphing into a self-serious and needlessly confusing mess. If I could, I’d divert the trolley to kill the version of me who…
No.
Do you also walk through the store and move items to the wrong shelves and aisles so that an employee has something to do inside as well? Why not just go get an entire cart of groceries from across the entire store and just leave it in a distant corner of the store for some employee to get paid to put it all back. May…
