I never know what to use. I used bar soap when I was a kid (since its what my parents used) but at some point I started scrubbing my skin more and soaping up the loofah or pouf or washcloth or whatever was easier with the liquid body wash. I’ve never really noticed anything good or bad either way, my skin is just skin

Might have been a rights issue then - all the other actors probably just signed a contract and cashed a check, but with her they’d have to work it out with her estate and maybe they didn’t want to or the estate refused or something.

I’ll say, regardless of the problems you may have with Mario Kart Tour’s monetization/microtransaction system, the gameplay is really solid. I’d rather a mobile kart racer use that style of controls than this “virtual joystick and buttons” approach.

I assumed that most of the lines were taken from the existing shows, but yeah I guess if they needed to record specific lines they’d have to leave her out. That said, for something like this (but not the actual show), I’d be fine with a soundalike VO.

I’m confused, you started with basically “it’s not my fault that I have to invade your personal space because I’m so big, if you don’t like me touching you for hours on end then that’s on you and you shouldn’t fly” and I’m the one who is selfish?

Good luck, hope you like it if you give it another go!

You can tell MacFarlane is a big Star Trek fan - most of the TNG cast has been on Family Guy, Patrick Stewart recurs in American Dad, and Star Trek jokes are in all of his shows. He was basically a background character on Enterprise. I think he always wanted to make his own Star Trek show, similar in tone to Star

Yeah man I love kidnapping babies.

Thanks for the info - I know sign languages are different than English, but I hadn’t really thought about how being able to read/write English alongside understanding signing requires you to essentially be bilingual. It’s easy for me to type in English because I know English and when I type it or read it, I can hear

I don’t drink cocktails or anything else that would typically benefit from the sphere ice, but I recently bought one of the LG fridges you mentioned that makes it and (as far as I know) there’s no way to stop it from making it. I wasn’t sure what to use them for, but turns out they’re pretty handy for those big metal

I can’t speak to your experience, but with American Dad you have to skip the first 3-4 seasons. It was created as a Family Guy clone because Family Guy was cancelled at the time, but when Family Guy was brought back before American Dad’s first season was done, Seth MacFarlane jumped ship to Family Guy, being little

Can you explain what you think is wrong with what I said? If your body is too big to fit in one seat and your only recourse is to take space away from those around you, why shouldn’t you pay for two? It’s just that our society loves tall people and hates fat people, so of course they’re going to charge one but not the

Absolutely not the only reason - it also keeps people talking about your show for longer, it keeps it in the cultural discussion and consciousness for longer. People don’t just talk about your show for a week and then stop, they talk about you for two or three months - that’s great for your brand. And if more people

That’s why the weekly release model is superior, pretty much everyone but Netflix has figured that out (and by splitting Stranger Things into two half-seasons, they clearly get it a little).

Fat people often buy a second seat (and are sometimes required to do so) to make up for the fact that they simply take up more space. I don’t think it’s absurd for the same thing to happen for passengers above a certain height - if you can’t physically fit in one seat, maybe you need two (or possibly one first-class

You’re right, but they won’t because they don’t want to be seen as the bad guys (at least any more than they have to be) - right now, the tall people get mad at the reclining people and the reclining people get mad at the people who try to stop them from using their seat. In reality, both groups should be mad at the

They aren’t saying it would kill them - if someone asks nicely and you want to help them, sure, but it is not your responsibility to do so.

Presumably an exception is made for those who purchased two seats because they need/want the extra room.

The “anarchy” examples are actually still consistent. “Less than a thousand dollars” is referring to the amount of money, not the number of dollars; this is done because money can be fractional - $999.99 is less than a thousand dollars, but it’s awkward to say it’s “fewer than a thousand dollars”.
