Exactly. And whats sad is that most of the people I know that do EXACTLY this are people at church.

“If I believed in God, I’d pray for you.” ... That is some real condescending crap.
Thank you. It’s also Florida, there’s fucking alligators all over the place, and people need to remember that staging an underwater rescue at night (without the right equipment) is borderline impossible.
This is...hard to process, challenging to say the least.
As a person who almost got their car stolen because the people who were trying to steal it were around these girls age, I probably would’ve choked them to death before they got in the water.
And yes, that sounds horrible and cruel. You know what else is horrible…
Nah. We’re saying a consequence of running from the cops is you might crash your car and die.
Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.
That’s absolutely the lesson here.
Yeah, because they wouldn’t be out stealing cars and running from the police in the first place.
If Susie, Kateland, and Madison were in that car and it hit the bottom of that pond, they’d be in the morgue just as certainly.
They came from broken homes and had parents who failed to be good role models. There are patterns in many similar situations unfortunately. You know why I don’t steal cars, despite the thrilling adventure it seems to be? Cops are gonna kill my ass if I’m not lucky enough to go to jail for years on end.

Also winning fights, lets not forget that part. The UFC may have provided a platform but McGregor is the one that used it properly and elevated his own brand.
If that were true then every talented UFC fighter would be a hugely popular superstar. That’s clearly not the case.
It’s a track record for how little UFC cares about its fighters, and is demonstrative to how the UFC will do whatever they want to do and shit on any fighter -even their biggest stars- who go against their wishes, thus making it relevant.
The way you treat your athletes is going to affect how willingly they put up with bullshit like press events. These things are directly related. The relationship between Connor and the UFC is a relationship, issues don’t exist in a vacuum.
Even that his largely down to his own personality though. The UFC just throws him on a stage and he sells himself. Dana didn’t do shit.
The.Fuck.It.Doesn’t.
I’m of the opinion that Conor McGregor is a self-aggrandizing prick. A good fighter, hell - possibly a great fighter, but a self-aggrandizing prick nonetheless.
That being said, I wholly support him roasting Dana White’s nuts over a can of media fueled sterno.
Dana White, and by extension, the UFC is terrible to it’s…
Not sure if they are outnumbered by good people any more to be honest. Outnumbered by non predatory assholes though probably, so thats something?
