The opening pages of Drawing of the Three remain one of the ballsiest sequel tone shifts of all time.

With the host segments now in DVD quality, I expect someone will make 'special editions' of the unreleased episodes. Hell, a very enterprising individual could use existing sources to cut out Joel/Mike and the bots at the bottom, find the best versions of the films, and overlay them back on with some audio tweaks, too.
Fridging is killing a female character specifically to motivate a male character. They only thing they're trying to motivate here is better rates by giving him his old TV wife back.
