Well, Superman killed Zod in the comics, approved by the code, in 1988. But then he kinda went crazy for a while due to guilt, and exiled himself to deep space for a few months, instead of smiling while breaking a drone like 5 minutes later.

Not just any authorities - special "US Arctic Patrol' police that look like Snowtroopers without helmets! This also implies that the fortress is in US territory, which raises even more questions about the geography of that film.
So are these actually making enough money to keep going? Show of hands, has anyone actually met a person who saw the first… two? This is the third, right?
It's pretty amazing that in the course of 9 years, the series went from Rocky having a personal symbolic victory while ultimately 'losing' to literally bringing down communism through the power of punching a guy lots of times.
You kidding? I'm still trying to figure out where not-too-bright alcoholic Paulie learned to rewrite his robot's programming.
yeah, caught that just as you were typing.
So when is this set, exactly? Rocky IV came out in 85, so Son Of Apollo™ needs to be AT LEAST 30, right? Sure, Rocky was 30 at the start of the film series, but unless there's some frozen Seed of Apollo™ curveball in his origins here, this universe sure has a lot of dudes going pro pretty late.
Honestly, it's about time Paulie died. He was the most awful character in the series (though, admittedly, the most realistic as well).
Nah, more of the Cronenberg one.
in somewhat related news, a Jessica Jones teaser is out.
You know, the ANOES sequels weren't always good, but those Matthew Joseph Peak posters were.
I nearly mentioned that. Why are there 10 shots of the damn Portland skyline during the LA portion of the film? WHY?!
Audrey and Piper both gained a foot in height every time they were in the mask, I guess.
I really wanted to like this documentary, but man, does the lack of interviewees and unwillingness to go below any surface level look at Smith stretch it thin. How many times can we hear KCRW guy talk about something that happened in a session, immediately followed by audio of that session?
Along with their third brother, Craig Wasson, who actually ended up in ANOES 3!
Marvel presents: Cheekbones - the Motion Picture
If this movie were made today, it would be set in 2004. Think about that for a minute.
Correction - he played *7* encores that night.
I was there for the first night of that. He left the stage 5 times, by the time of his final encore it was almost 2 AM and 80% of the crowd had left. Great show, though.
17 year olds? Really? What's the appeal there? 'I want someone that's *almost* a legal adult, indistinguishable from an 18 year old in every way except I'll go to jail if I get caught!'
