I was almost convinced this might be okay until I saw Espinosa was the same criminal responsible for Child 44, one of the worst movies I've ever seen.

I lost all interest when I saw this was the same guy who directed "Child 44," which was probably the worst movie I've seen in the last five years.
Are you me? Good News introduced so many people to Modest Mouse, and I'm not sure any band deserved it more. Modest Mouse has been unapologetically weird for a long time, even as they grew more mainstream.

I couldn't even really get into Futures — Bleed American just hit so hard at the time.
Like someone else said — I think that's a you problem, not a them problem. http://www.theonion.com/art…
I love LCD Soundsystem and Talking Heads both but I hate this comparison. Never once have I equated the two.
Actually, that cluster in the southeast corner (if we're treating this rendering like a map) is where Darryl/Jim's office should be — Creed and Meredith sit in the desks to the west. It is just Kelly and Toby back in the annex for much of the series, but Ryan occupies a desk back there for a while, as does Gabe.…
That's the game that forever made Nightcrawler my favorite mutant
This happened to me with "Walking in Memphis" — I thought for years that it was Bruce Springsteen, all because of one mislabeled mp3 in my library.
The score for Grand Budapest Hotel was robbed of an Oscar — the whole monastery/tram/ski sequence is totally driven by the music, and it's kind of what makes the gimmicks in those scenes work.
Also not a word of the delightful children of Talladega Nights ("Greatest Generation my ass! Tom Brokaw's a punk!") or Ronnie Shields of Role Models ("Fuck you, Miss Daisy!")
Hey now, I just listened to all six minutes of the Bohemian Rhapsody cover before saying fuck this.
Are you saying a dentist couldn't become a chemistry teacher if they wanted to? Anti-Dentite!
Agreed — if you want to hook someone on Rilo Kiley, "Portions for Foxes" is the one to play for them.
Mine is "My Slumbering Heart" — that imagery at the beginning (In my dreams, i see myself hitting a baseball/In a green field somewhere near a freeway/I'm all tan and smiling and running from third base") is what first caught my ear with Rilo Kiley, and if we're talking Lewis' propensity for autobiography, that song…
If we were going to replace it with another song from Under the Blacklight, I'd go with "Dreamworld" in the context of the piece, since it was written by Sennett and collaborator/another former child actor Morgan Nagler. Kind of indicative of Sennett's desire to spread his wings a bit as well, IMO, as well as being a…
I personally love Dead Man's Chest (and At World's End, for that matter, though to a lesser degree). I could do without the chase with the cannibals, but even the over-the-top three-way swordfight on a rolling water wheel at the end gets my gears turning. The first Pirates was largely about elaborate setups for fights…
That Jimmy John's Twitter account is totally on point — it's like the Twitter of a bored college kid who loves only one thing: Jimmy John's
