Yeah - where it differs to Tarantino is that it really commits to showing how messed up the gang violence is. For all the talk of QT's explorations of darkness, I don't think he has ever gone as deep in as James does here. I don't think there is any possibility of folk assuming James is glamorising anything.

Yeah, unfortunately I think the uncertainty as to whether it was going to get renewed meant that there was no way it was going to be back at the same time this year.

Can we insert the phrase "fatally crushed" into that sentence?

I'm pretty sure it's implied that the reason he has such a weird relationship with Harry is because he looks like James, which makes him hate him, but he also has Lily's eyes. That is just so creepy.

As someone I think has pointed out - to get into the position to cry over Lily's corpse he literally stepped over the dead body of James and a presumably terrified baby.

Nah, it's about the time Poe developed an AI and then got the leader of the First Order to test it for him.

It'll just him taking credit for space-Uhtred's space-battles.

I started to get the impression every meal in the British Army rat-pack had beans in it (when I was a cadet they'd give us old 24 hour boxes, which are mostly worth it for the fruit biscuits…)

As a Vikings fan I like that Travis Fimmel is basically playing Ragnar again

Clarence Clemons' contribution to Gaga's Edge of Glory made that song pretty great.

Boy do I hate that song

I know that song is terrible and yet I can't resist it…

"Never underestimate the power of a queen with lovely hair, my dear!"

No, no - one of them is Guildenstern and the other is Rosencrantz

Yeah, like I said in my personal case it's definitely not racial fetishisation, just something I noticed (to be honest I don't have a 'type' in terms of looks).
I've seen that mix of sexual objectification and cultural fetishism in others (particularly online) and it's a pretty ugly mix of sexism and racism (you know

He sang with Arcade Fire around the time of their first album as well.

Ha, I'd never thought of it that way

I was kind of worried about a similar thing - like (especially after my last girlfriend) I like Hindustandi women, so is that fetishisation or, worse, orientalism? Or is it no worse than liking blondes or Irish people?

Huh. This isn't 'rah rah British English is superior' posturing, but having a different word to mean 'every two weeks' is really useful.

Is that word not used much in the states? Fortnightly is standard over here, so 'biweekly' always confuses me.
