The problem with pineapple is that my wife doesn’t eat a lot of it. So I end up having a full pineapple by myself, and my mouth takes a day or so to feel normal again.

You’ve never made breakfast sandwiches out of them? (Kenji’s method was to wrap the biscuits in foil and heat them in the oven).

Solutions are easy when you’re not on the side of the road and not sure what’s even leaking. In the real world in a real situation the clarity of thinking through the situation and all of the available alternatives isn’t so easy.

I told them we’ve already got one”

Been there, glad you got it sorted.

I wish I could take credit, but my spouse figured out chicken popcorn before I did. It’s not bad. A little shredded rotisserie chicken, some cheese, some butter and salt.

This is The Way.

Or a wok, right on the chimney. Beats the hell out of trying to use it on my crappy electric stovetop.

I mean you should replace the bricks every once in a while. And I said build it in a way to allow air flow....which means don’t block the vents. (Maybe I should have spelled it out a little more clearly!)

I was JUST thinking about this method yesterday LOL. But I just got a slow ‘n sear so that will be the next thing we play around with.

....I suppose I could

Someone with an air fryer please test the onion portion of AB’s green bean casserole? That alone might be enough to get me to finally buy one.

I feel like this works though. I have never over-garlic’d anything and I’m not convinced it can be done.

I suppose my usual solution, use six times as much garlic as I actually need and finish off the entire head as soon as I buy it, isn’t quite as cost-effective or convenient as this.

Oh this is a whole area I am so excited to explore!!!

Not for everything, particularly smoking. Most competition smokers prefer briquettes due to their more predictable nature.

This might seem like “inside baseball” or whatever but odd combinations of sous vide and grilling can be a lot of fun and yield some amazing results.

I’m not sure how relatable it would be for most readers but I’m sure it would generate plenty of hate mail.  ;)

Florida Man doesn’t see color.

Some of the cities are significantly less insane than the rest of the state. I’m in Orlando, and it’s like every other small city, just hot. Tampa and Lakeland are both like that too. St. Augustine is one of my favorite towns I’ve ever been to.
