Me: The art of the two-tone paint scheme is something we need back.

Well houses were a lot smaller 50 years ago there is that but I guess glof clubs and suitcases are a fairly standardised unit. I imagine furniture purchases were rare as it was still expensive to buy furniture and was expected to last a long time so probably delivered before flat packing.

Unpopular opinion: Zagato has never designed a car that looked better than the model it was based on.

Given that Volvo has idled and slowed multiple production lines and sent press releases when it did, the reputation for honesty in car salespeople remains unchanged.

Going metric in America will be funny once we start re-learning how to experience and distances, volumes and masses subjectively. I ran into this while driving in Italy two months ago. I knew this obviously, but its sorta different once you experience it as a driver for real.

I’m a Boomer, please take over already... I’m so tired...

I’m a so-called “geriatric millennial” and I would love to join the rest of the world in using the the metric system. Make it happen Gen Z!

I wonder when car manufacturers will learn that this is folly and pointless? My cars are old and archaic so i just use my phone but my friends with new BMWs and Tesla’s and so on also just use their phones.

It’ll handily out-tow my 1994 Nissan Hardbody, but the payload is the same.

Why? That looks a high schoolers rendering after a few weeks using blender

Or the other driver is driving like an absolutely fucking psychopath.

There are lots of people who, while you are trying to get a reasonable distance in front of the person you just passed, will just get right on your ass and squeeze through the tiny gap to pass on your right, because they simply cannot be arsed to wait another five seconds to do things safely.

Dude I can be twenty over the limit on a highway in most places and there’s still some dickhead trying to pass me on the right. Maybe those people just can’t drive.

Maybe it’s just me, but, the sheer amount of people I see driving while using a hand held phone, texting, surfing the internet, or even reading an effing book (saw it last week) has gone up, not down. What the hell?
