My car was set up perfect for it. The MAF has a 3" OD, perfect for slipping a cone filter over with a band clamp. It just rests on the lower half of the stock airbox now. Now I can hear the intake growl, the turbo spool and the BOV under load, but when you’re just cruising, it’s as quiet as stock.

I replaced the stock filter and box in my Giulia with an AEM dry filter, and the only reason I did this was sound. The car is so quiet from the factory you can't hear any intake or exhaust sounds. Putting a cone filter on totally changed the car. I probably sacrificed 5hp to do this but seriously, it's 5hp. My butt…

All of these are now either doing 20 under and burning oil, or 20 over and burning oil but in either case they’re either full of paint or carpet with the back doors bungee'd shut. Fuck these things.
