Even if he hasn’t grown at all as an actor since 2005, having someone other than George Lucas to direct him should make a difference. He was great in Shattered Glass.

I’m wondering why Gundam Seed isn’t mentioned. It was a really good remake of the original series for the early 2000s. At least I enjoyed it back then. It takes place in it’s own universe so knowledge of the original series isn’t necessary. It’s available on Hulu.

Just a heads up, only the second season is available on Hulu. First season expired just over a month ago.

Gundam 00 is my favorite series, even if they didn’t stick the landing with the movie. It was Gundam Wing for a post 9/11 world, it even follows some of the same beats.
