You’re right. I saw it yesterday for the second time, and it was clear to me on this viewing that it’s Erik’s father and a young Erik in the voiceover. Which only adds to the sadness.

I know Tokyo Drift isn’t very good, but for some reason I like it. I’ve seen it three times.
