I don’t think Gamora’s death will stick but if it does, I will never forgive them for fridging her for the arc of two male characters. I will complain about it for the rest of my life.

Clearly. I was surprised to see a reviewer call Doctor Strange’s final move stupid. I thought it was amazingly obvious. He spelled it out in every way short of outright saying, “This path is the one in 14 million.”

Yes!

Alright, we are all agreeing that Doctor Strange actually did that to make the timeline he saw them winning in happen, right?

io9, thank you for doing the discussion zone thing. Us spoilerphobes do appreciate it.

Yeah...Peter’s vanishing at the end still haunts me today. Holland has done great work with the role. He and the writers very naturally remind you that the character is still just a high schooler.

There is a 0% chance that Shuri did not back up Vision. They said there was enough of Vision in him beyond the Stone and while his body is gone I think his mind is definitely sitting in a server in Wakanda. Bank on it.

“No ressurections this time.” As Loki’s corpse drops to the deck.

That’s honestly me. Everyone thought cap and tony were going to die, and in the end they were two of the only people to not die! But it killed me that peter parker died, and the look on tony’s face at losing this little kid from queens.

I’d go with “Mutherfu-” myself!

When Fury comes back the first thing out of his mouth better be “-ucker”

Peter’s passing was the only one that stuck with me, just because of how he was afraid and called out to Tony. So even though it’s temporary it was emotional

So, the name of Avengers 4 is Avengers: Motherf* right?

So WOW. So many thoughts. First of all, the movie was rather lighthearted, in spite of everything. I’d say the only surprise for me was Red Skull popping up. was 100% confident Infinity War would be the movie to bring that character back....but I did not ever imagine he would show up doing Dementor/Ghost of Christmas

Obviously:

Hot off the press thoughts:

Personally I think Disney should get on its knees scrap the sequel trilogy and ask George Lucas back to do it proper.

Also we would have never had this glorious shot:

Which, ok I guess, but if you can get into Rey’s head, then why not just track her that way? Like wasn’t that the reason Luke detached himself from the force so that Snoke couldn’t find him?

How I had heard it explained was Snoke opened the door between their minds but his death didn’t necessarily close it.
