How is there anyone who believes that everything revolves around the Earth??? I could understand a child thinking that, but an adult? An educated adult? That's so strange.

I know, and gov't healthcare would be such a boost to small businesses and people who are self-employed. It would give small employers the ability to attact good workers. I don't get why people are so opposed to a gov't healthcare system. It' not like the system we have works.
This could all be mute if we could just get single-payer government healthcare.
The only one that upset me was the Best Actress. Cate Blanchett is a great actress, but Sandra Bullock should have won Best Actress. For any actor to carry a film like that is hard. It was almost a solo performance, but at the same time it didn't feel like a movie about Sandra Bullock, but about an astronaut and…
I was thinking the same thing.
I like when they went silent and were absorbed into the program, then you knew it was great. I mostly watch during the day listening to Lipinski and Weir, and they were excellent. I understood the sport better. And like today, they mentioned that Kim Yu-Na did 6 triples whereas Adelina Sotnikova did 7 triples,…
Yes!
I agree. She's talented, has worked hard, and is always so professional, and somehow that's bad? I don't get it. I've always enjoyed her work and admired how she has built her career.
that episode was the creepist one. I have yet to rewatch it.
I don't care who does it, I don't think it will work well. You can't go with #1, where they leave her in a mythological world, because then you just have Xena. And you can't do #2 because then you ruin her orgin.
I love this series! The story is wonderful, the writing, poetic. Really, each sentence is perfect prose. I wouldn't call this an antidote (though I think antidote is the wrong word) to Lewis, but Tolkein. Tolkein's writing resembles medieval art; heavy on detail, with every part of the canvas filled, where Le…
I hadn't seen this book before. It looks perfect for my boys. Thanks. I just ordered from Amazon.
I loved Charmed. I've seen every episode at least 3x's, and I still will sit down and watch it once in a while. But I don't know if I want them to try and directly recreate it, especially on a network.
I had no interest in Sleepy Hollow, but now I will have to watch.
That's even more depressing. The date on the Gamestop site was 12/31. Oh well. It's a shame because it does look like a good game. By the Q4 next year I'll be looking at Xbox and thinking of giving up our Nintendo.
It's frustrating that Bayonetta 2 won't be available till after Christmas. How hard could it be to release it 2 weeks earlier? We still have, and my kids still play, Zelda Wind Waker, so I'm not interested in getting that, or the Olympic Games. They really don't have much coming out still and the unit will be a…
When I was younger, my neighbors raised/showed/bred Blue Himalayans. They were beautiful cats. Not really blue, their fur seemed to have a blue tint. That's what I would imagine a blue tiger would look like. It doesn't seem impossible, just improbable.
Oh my goodness, that looks amazing. I have to see it. I love Sandra Bullock, and her with Clooney! It's going to be a great movie. It looks so scary, so terrifing. Wow. It might be hard to sit though without having a panic attack.
It does seem like all of the game machines are going to struggle. Maybe Xbox will do well, but I think PS4 will struggle.
Without Walmart we wouldn't have any grocery store. There used to be a "mom and pop" store. And while some people complain that those are driven out of business by Walmart, they don't realize that the "mom and pop" places might not be worth shopping at. Our local store was dirty, had high prices, and out of date…
