I thought he had, somewhere in the 90's. Maybe he just assumes it's obvious.

I don't see the need for a female Doctor, and honestly, I don't understand the push for one. The Doctor is a guy, has been. There were female Time Lords, but the Doctor was/is a guy.

I wanted to love these books, but I did not. The plot is good, the characters are good, but the writing left me wanting. But I think it could make good TV. The characters are compelling and the story line is a bit different. I hope it does well.

Oh, but I like Emily Blunt. I think she's a great character actress. She melts into whoever she's playing. I do think this is an odd role for her. The movie does not look like one I would want to see.

That's why I like it too. I like to know where the kids are, especially when they are on the road. I don't want to call or text, but I like to know that they are on the way.

I also love my Kindle, but if I buy the paperback I can sell it at my local used book store. But that 1 click buy button is a dangerous thing. I must have some books NOW. :)

I will forever love JK's Potter, because my son, who refused to read anything longer than 50 pages, or swore it was too difficult to read at all, became an avid reader because of those books. He now reads somewhere up to 30 books a year. Yes, they were a awesome gateway drug. :)

These threads are killing me. I can't keep up with all of the reading. I am now currently reading Innkeeper's Song, and now I want to read Winter's Tale, and I still want to get to Gaiman's newest book and read another Murakami (I love his writing). I need more reading time.

You are correct. I haven't seen Hannibal. I can read that stuff, but can't stand to watch it. My daugther is hooked on the show. I would be worried, except I grew up reading Stephen King. I understand teenagers need for psychological thrillers/gore.

Charlie, I think that has got to be the best review I've ever read. Really excellent.

I thought it was ok. The writing was decent, and the genre twist was well done. I did have a hard time feeling for any of the girls except for the main one. You knew they were going to be killed, so it was hard to bond with those characters. I also felt like some of the feminist aspects were a bit forced, not bad,

I had wanted her over Obama, but Kennedy killed her campaign. I hope she's able to go all the way this time. I don't think the Republicans have anyone that could beat her. More of an issue is if the Dems will get behind her.

Well said.

I'm really going to miss this show. I did see the connection between Pete and the commericals, but I also saw the connection between Pete and Myka. Neither will be able to have children. Very sad, and very Warehouse13. None of them will ever have anything outside of the Warehouse.

You did it. I just ordered a used copy. It bumped Neil Gaiman's new book off my "buy now" list. I'm reading a Le Guin book right now, and I've been debating between Murakami or Sanderson's Mistborn series. I'll read this next then decide on going surreal or fantasy. :)

Now I have to read it. Looks great, but my to-read list is getting long.

Yeah. I felt like he had a good understanding of the technology and where it could go. It's not really predicting, just intelligent writing. Good book.

If I go see this movie, I may cry through the whole thing. That book meant so much to me. I read it over and over. I don't have time this weekend to go see it, but if I do get to it while it's still in the theater I will have to go alone, and preferably when the theater is almost empty. Who wants to see an over

I love these books so much. I can't wait until the next one comes out. I'm thrilled that Martin is able to see fans reactions. What a priviledge for a writer. Usually the book is sent out, and you may hear about people reactions but not like this. So many people, all at the same time, seeing the same scene and

I have to admit that I would NOT like a female Doctor. I don't know why, but I really wouldn't. I would like a strong female companion (like River or Donna) or, if they can figure out a way, a female Time Lord (like Romana), but the Doctor should stay male.
