Also, he threw out tons of characters without personality just to have their names in there. What Singer did with Sabertooth in the first movie is an insult to the whole universe. Similar stuff happened to Gambit and Deadpool, and probably many more (haven't seen 2 & 3 after the X-Men 1 disappointment).
