Teh problem, as it were, with most recordings of cars, is that they are terrible facsimiles of reality.

If you are likely to get public assistance in the form of tax breaks however...
There are 104 short term rental properties in my neighborhood. (say roughly 5 blocks in every direction.)
15 years ago there were 0. Somewhat coincidentally, 15 years ago there were also not 8 families living in motor homes and cars down at the park at the end of my street.
Interesting.
“Some cars get hit by objects while parked.”
Usually by other automobiles, piloted by someone who is violating the basic rule.
“Yet Another Greeley Parked Car Hit I’m a couple of days late in posting this, but another parked car on Greeley was slammed into. I believe it was on Sunday, I saw the car Monday morning.”
“design to avoid the collision in the first place”
Exactly. Put some windows in the car to look out of, and some sort of device (a wheel maybe) that allows you to change direction of the automobile. Maybe publish some sort of official user guide that describes safe operating techniques. You could even put up some…
I could be old, and cranky, but looking out at what’s going on through the windows instead of down at my dick phone has done a damn fine job of keeping me from colliding with cars, pedestrians, pets, etc.
I don’t care if models collect a billion dollars a year in pay, because I don’t need to buy their products, the only place I ever see Kendal Jenner is here on this blog (maybe on the cover of magazines at cash registers?)
Health Insurance executives on the other hand can suck my balls for paying themselves 8 figures a…
“telling him they’d found a” several spots of powdery, white residue residue, with trace amounts of potassium nitrate.
Dangerous stuff.
This is relevant to my interests.
Is the R55 is okay? I really would like to replace ye olde Focus with a Clubman (requirement::dogs), but wouldn’t touch the new ones with the stupid front end unless someone literally bought one for me.
:O
I spent a decade in the UK, the system is better. Frankly, when I walk into the hospital in the US and the lobby looks more expensive than that of any hotel where I can afford to stay; it pisses me off.
My first thought.
Ha! There was a mid 80's 500 SEC with blue/purple glitter paint, gold wheels and one of these kits in my neighborhood for years until 5 years ago.
Definitely needs front wing..but black paint...
:O
Oh dear.
I was just saying the other day, it’s a very rare car indeed whose looks are not greatly improved by lowering (or given the appearance of lowering, with skirts) its ride height.
The car in question was a 1st gen XC70 Cross Country that was tastefully lowered with decent understated wheels...it looked great.
Someone was telling me about some (random) bar in Colorado where the last song of the night is always “Proud to be an American” and everyone (stands and?) sings.
Probably one of those joints where the Budweiser employee got fired for accepting a Coors after the waitress got his order wrong.
Jesus created the flat earth 6000 years ago complete with dinosaur skeletons.
edit: I had never considered how thick the earth is supposed to be since it’s flat...I’m off the read the bible.
Agree. I feel like one of the reasons it’s so hard to really get is that they’re not benefits from a consumer standpoint*, they’re selling points. Of course marketing will tell you that they’re benefits, that’s how selling points work.
*And yes, influencers within the target demographic will say “I like being above…
hah! Owned a 76, then a 75 Scirocco in the 80's. The smell is real.
