Ah yes. M+S is not the same as the snowflake. My nissan titan has M+S tires, and my geo tracker has the snowflake tires - snowflake is much better. M+S does not have a softer compound that snowflake uses which offers greater traction in less than 10 degrees (celsiuis) temps.
