Thanks for running the league!

Ah. That makes sense.

I've checked a few times, and I think I should have 10 more points. (It wasn't a big enough deal to bring up on its own, but if I'm voting in the biggest flop poll, may as well.)

A Song of Ice and Fire/Game of Thrones. I'm currently about a third of the way into A Dance With Dragons and halfway through season three of the show. I seem to be pacing myself through both at just the right rate; e.g., I read the chapters that reintroduced Theon right before watching the episodes that picked up that

Drop/Add: None

Scream Queens also killed off Denise Hemphill, who was a special guest star this season, but I think was in every episode before being dying. Which is four, but still.

I want to say Notorious, because it's dragging down How to Get Away with Murder, but if they haven't pulled it heading into sweeps, I guess they're just going to let it ride and hope HtGAwM rebounds when Scandal comes back.

Bull, Tuesday.

Proving that I didn't learn as much from last year's middling picks as I thought…

Murder in the First isn't on tonight. It was supposed to be, but The Last Ship got pulled last week and now everything got pushed back a week.

Basically, Red Dragon (the book) is a solid little thriller, and the movie does a good job of not getting in its way. It's like when I read The Sllence of the Lambs years later and even though I knew (more or less, the movie's a faithful adaptation) how everything would go but could barely put it down.

Red Dragon. Part of it is I don't see the appeal of Manhunter – I watched both for the first time on successive nights, and was bored by Manhunter and transfixed by Red Dragon… and I watched Manhunter first.

"You met me at a very strange time in my life."

Return of the Jedi. The 2004 changes (Naboo with a shouting Gungan in the celebration sequence, Hayden Christensen) were unfortunate, but I still love the whole sequence from Vader's funeral to the closing shot of the heroes gathered together.

They added the entire run of The Musketeers, including the entire third season, a week and a half ago with almost no fanfare. Took me by surprise when I saw it available from them.

Thank you, Franko, for running the league this year, and I look forward to trying again next year with, hopefully, better fall picks. Or worse; I think a slate full of surprise hits that lands me so far in the negatives I have little hope of making it out would be more fun that a bunch of marginal performers that

Biggest flop: Of Kings and Prophets, getting yoinked after two episodes (one fewer than Wicked City, even) and, as far as I know, it hasn't even been burned off on Hulu or iTunes yet.

Pick-a-Pilot: Riverdale, Tuesdays at 8 (Central).

I'm a little surprised Chicago Med hasn't been renewed already. That's my pick.

Drop: Rosewood
Swap: Sleepy Hollow
Add: Second Chance, Lucifer, Of Kings and Prophets, Galavant, Angel from Hell
