@leave_the_silver_city:disqus This is why I generally prefer time travel stories which don't screw around with causality and different timelines. When you make the decision that the past is unalterable it really constrains what you can get away with plot-wise.

It's actually the highest rated non-sports show of 2012 in the 18-49 demo. It even beat Modern Family. Any executive worth their pay would be throwing money at it.

It's not that inexplicable. They killed off most of the characters that weren't working and used the gap in between seasons as an excuse to re-tool the others, brought in a great new villain, brought back Michael Rooker and upped the number of action scenes.
