I think on my first run through all of them I won't worry about 100% completion. I think I've already blown it with the first one, and I don't want to worry to much about finding everything in the others on my first playthrough. But if they hold up well, I can definitely see myself going back and trying to get the

Sorry, @TheSingingBrakeman:disqus, I ended up not picking up Skyward Sword this week! Instead of buying a new game, I decided to play one I owned but hadn't played yet. So… I'm going through Metroid Prime. I bought the trilogy when it first came out on Wii U and was on sale for $10, but never got around to playing

I actually read your review right before posting! It definitely reaffirmed my desire to play the game. I love the art style and I've had a great time with every Zelda game I've ever played, so I really feel like this should be my next purchase!

I'm so tempted to play that game just for the art design and atmosphere, as you mention, but games based around tactics feel so overwhelming to me. I've never really played one. Not sure if Darkest Dungeon would be a decent choice to start with or not.

I had a similar experience. I really loved Asylum and replay it a lot. City was fun, I finished it, and I'll probably never play it again because Asylum exists and is just a better game. And that just put me off both Origins and Knight. Maybe I'll get around to them eventually, but part of me has a hard time seeing

To me, the limited inventory in Resident Evil is just part of the total puzzle of the game. I still haven't perfected it and end up backtracking a lot, but I'm getting better at passing items by knowing that I'll pass through that area again before I actually need the item. And if you practice dodging enemies,

You know, I realized there's not a ton of point to me posting here since the games I say I'll play almost never end up being the games I play. I'm not a planner, so I just say what I think I'll play, but it doesn't work out that way. But I keep posting here anyway because I just love the community. Sorry to get sappy,

Yeah, I know a lot of people weren't crazy about Sunshine, and it doesn't really do much that's crazy or new. But it was the first Mario game I played to completion (I was 9 when it came out, and had only played earlier games at friends' houses), and I have really fond memories. I still enjoy playing it to this day.

I bought a Wii U a couple years ago and have absolutely no regrets at all. It's a super fun system with a lot of great games, even though it wasn't marketed well at all. If you ever do see a good price on a bundle or something, it's totally worth it! However, the Wii had an incredible library of games too, so I'm sure

Besides the lack of SNES support, Xenoblade Chronicles 3D is exclusive to the New 3DS systems. There might be other exclusives, but I don't know. And apparently Hyrule Warriors Legends and Super Smash Bros. perform poorly on non-"New" 3DS systems.

This seems as good of a place as any to complain about not getting one of the Black Friday New 3DSs for $99. There's enough 3DS games that interest me that I'd like one, but I'm not sure if I want to spend $150-$200 for one. I've looked at the 2DSs, but it can't play SNES games from the Virtual Console, which is one

I had the exact same experience with X.

That's definitely part of it. Although I'd say the gameplay itself has never been what grabbed me about the Pokemon games in the first place. I loved the Pokemon themselves, which used to get me through the games, but I've never been the biggest fan of the overall gameplay. I always felt like I wanted to go on an

You know, I've honestly gotten really tired of actually playing the Pokemon games, but I still get excited whenever a new one is announced to check out the new Pokemon designs and read about the worlds and everything. And it's just so much fun to see how excited everybody gets, even if I'm not on board. I still love

I can read up on it, but how is the mobile port of BG2? My computer is on it's last legs and can't really handle much of anything, and I'm not sure when I'll be able to afford another one. I've only ever heard really good things about both BG and BG2, though, so I'm very interested in trying them!

That's good to know! I haven't actually played the Japanese version of any of them yet, but I'll have to keep that in mind if I'm experiencing lag. Thanks!

I haven't! I've actually never played any CRPGs, or whatever you call that style of game.

Ha! That's awesome. The dialogue in these games is so quotable!

The music in Gone Home is fantastic as well. I semi-regularly listen to the soundtrack and the very last song before the credits still makes me all sorts of emotional. (There's not much of a spoiler behind the tag but still. As you said, it's best going into cold so I want to avoid any potential spoilers, however
