Oh man, I can't even explain how gleeful I felt during the mission you're describing. I was like a little kid just giggling and loving every minute.

Well, gonna continue making progress in Resident Evil 2. I feel like I've said enough about the series in the past few weeks as I've been playing through the games. Still love them. Still enjoy every minute.

I don't really play online games that much (except Rocket League), so the new one was pretty much a no-go for me anyway, but I've heard even for people who like that kind of thing, it's a disappointment. A proper sequel on modern consoles would be an absolute dream for me!

In middle school, a friend and I figured out that on the Kamino map of Star Wars Battlefront II, you could quickly capture all the CPs except one in a closed-in room with only two exits. If you set the number of AI or respawns or whatever it was in that game, the room could get super full of enemies. So we'd go about

That game was far more disturbing than a sidescrolling puzzle game has any right to be! (It was also absolutely brilliant.)

Oh man, how did I forget about his role in BASEketball! I haven't seen that movie since high school.

One of my favorite things about the original, at least, is that I was able to beat it without killing anybody. I did go back and load saves a lot, though. You have to have patience and plan things out. But yeah, it's honestly not super hard to get through without killing a single person!

Hopefully finishing Chris's mission on Resident Evil REmaster. I just got to the catacombs, so it shouldn't take more than another hour, roughly, to finish up with the best ending. Then on to Resident Evil 2. I don't think I mentioned it last week when gushing about the REmaster, which I'd never played before, but not

Yeah, I mean no matter how well they integrate it, it's clearly a game built for tank controls, and you'll get the best experience using them.

Word. I've heard that its a generational thing or whatever. That modern gamers who didn't grow up with games with tank controls won't get it. But I didn't play a single game with tank controls until playing Silent Hill 3 when I was 18, only 5 years ago. It was weird at first and I died a couple times because of it,

Chris's mission in the Resident Evil REmake remaster for PS4. Played Jill's story this past week. The week before, I replayed the original 1996 version of Resident Evil and loved it just as much as ever. I was going to move on to Resident Evil 2, but I decided to try out REmake, which I'd never played.

Resident Evil 2! Finished Chris's scenario on the original game (not REmake, which i haven't played yet) last night after finishing Jill's last week. Got the Good+ ending for both. Loved it just as much as always. Haven't played 2 in a long time, but I remember the individual scenarios being relatively short, which

Any horror DVD experts know if the linked Amazon product is the full cut or not? Some of the comment reviews mention it missing 5 minutes, so I looked it up and read some articles but I'm still not sure if this is the best version to get. I've wanted this one for a long time but I'm not sure about the different

Man, I'm getting chills at my desk in my brightly lit office thinking about those two scenes you mention in your first paragraph. Holy crap. I always forget how chilling that first movie was.

Yep! I did that and also backed them up to a flash drive, just in case. The cloud save worked perfectly fine, but I felt a little better having another backup, just in case.

I actually replaced the hard drive in my PS4 myself a few months ago, and it was shockingly easy! I've never built a computer or anything like that, so I had no real experience with that kind of thing, but I had no problems. Good luck! It's totally worth it, in my opinion.

I'm currently playing/replaying the Resident Evil series, up to Resident Evil 4, which is the most recent one I've played. This week I beat Jill's story in the original. This weekend is pretty busy, but I'm hoping to get through Chris's story. I hadn't played the original in a long time, so Jill's story took me around

Oh man, I hadn't heard about that DOOM update. That sounds perfect! I loved replaying the levels after beating it, but hated having to sit through the cutscenes every time.

Honestly, while I recognize that 2 is the best from almost every way you can look at it, the original is still by far the most fun for me to actually play through. For one, the story is much more simple and less emotional, which is maybe a negative from a storytelling perspective, but makes for an easier, spooky

Oxenfree took me two evenings to play my first time through (roughly 5 hours), but I was hunting down everything without a guide. You could probably get it done in just a night if you wanted to just get through the story once, and that's a totally viable way to play.
