Any good places you'd suggest for a newcomer to Daredevil to start?

I'm probably sounding like a broken record saying I'm playing a Metal Gear Solid game every weekend. Don't have a ton of time for video games lately, so I'm getting through the series very slowly. So, with that being said, I'll be playing Metal Gear Solid 3 this weekend. So far, I've only played through the Virtuous

I guess we care more about different aspects of roleplaying. In Skyrim, I've created so many different kinds of characters. I've had a ranger/archer character where I specifically avoided buying any property, just renting rooms and sleeping on random mats and only having what I could carry on me at any given time.

I'm very excited! I didn't touch on it in my post, but the story is really fascinating and the way it's doled out is pretty impressive. I always feel a little uneasy whenever "the other" shows up, and the Watchers are always kinda unnerving. I'm really excited to see what it all builds toward.

I've never paid enough attention and have a terrible memory, but are the flash sales every single month regardless of other sales? Right now there is a "Best of E3 Sale" or something to that effect. Will that "take the place" of the flash sale, or do you think there will be a flash sale this month in addition?

I've never played any of the God of War games, but this one does have me interested. The older games seem a lot like a 14-year-old male power fantasy kind of thing where Kratos is this angsty, one-dimensional badass who all the ladies want to have sex with and who can kill anything an anyone.

I'm definitely cautious about it as well, but I gotta say, having Insomniac at the helm makes me feel cautiously optimistic rather than hopefully pessimistic, if that makes sense.

There's really nothing like Skyrim when it comes to actually role-playing in a video game. I've played other games like Dragon Age, and while fun, they don't scratch the same itch. Having your character be a blank slate in Skyrim may not be great from a storytelling perspective, but it's great for creating your own

Not gonna have a ton of time for video games this weekend, but I'll probably squeeze in a few puzzles on The Swapper. I'm really enjoying the game and surprised I've never heard a whole lot about it. Seems like the kind of "indie game" that would really take off, but what do I know. Anyway, it's a very fun, thoughtful

That was my thought too. The new RE game has taken some very, very clear influence from PT. And as much as I'd love a return-to-form RE game, I'm completely fine with them going in a new, PT/Silent Hills-inspired direction.

I'd argue that The Last of Us is a very good example in that it builds the world and story through the gameplay itself, rather than through long cutscenes or simply reading all the information about what's going on. Yeah, in TLOU there are collectibles to read, and yes, I love games that require cutscenes and reading

I'd also mention The Swapper. It's a puzzle game where the puzzle mechanic itself (a device that creates clones and allows you to swap consciousness between clones) brings up a lot of questions. For instance, one trick that you need to use quite a bit is to drop from a high platform to a lower one. Normally that drop

"Zinak fucked with Biz Markie"
"Man, I can't wait to kill that bitch!"

Have fun with Super Metroid! It's one of the best games ever made as far as I'm concerned. Zero Mission and Fusion are excellent as well. I'm in the same boat as you regarding the prime trilogy.

Yeah, I really love that aspect. The humor that falls flat is more of the "LOL this autobody shop is named Rimjobs" sort of thing.

Will probably try to finish up the story missions of Saints Row IV. I think I only have a handful left. While the humor is about 50/50 for me, I'm surprised at how well-drawn the characters are and I'm having an absolute blast with the gameplay. It's also a fun game to pass the controller back and forth with friends,

One of my favorite video game memories is playing through Wind Waker HD last summer when I was struggling more than usual with depression/anxiety. I spent so much time in that game just exploring, talking to everybody, finding all the secrets, solving all the Private Oasis puzzles, and just generally immersing myself

Agreed. I love the actual Pokemon creatures, but I've never found the battles and overall progression of the games to be compelling. I'd much rather collect Pokemon and adventure and explore with them in some capacity. I don't know exactly what kind of game I'd want, but something where there's more interaction

There's a lot of talk about video game movies, but honestly how many good "sword and sorcery"-style fantasy movies are there? The Lord of the Rings trilogy, Conan the Barbarian, The Dark Crystal, and Princess Mononoke are all I can think of off the top of my head. I have a soft spot for Conan the Destroyer, but I
