I'm so tempted to get it for PS4. I used to have so much fun with Team Fortress 2, and I've heard this is similar but even bigger and better and crazier. If it had local multiplayer, it would be a no-brainer for me, but as it is, I'll probably wait for a sale. I totally understand why they didn't include local

That's a game I've been wanting to get for a long time. I loved the levels in Super Mario 3D World and think I'd really enjoy the full game. If I didn't have such a large backlog, I'd probably go out and get it tonight!

Thought I was going to finish Metal Gear Solid 2 before the weekend, but that didn't work out. Should definitely finish it this weekend though. The story has been pretty easy to follow so far (spoiler I just found the president and he was killed by Ocelot, and now I'm going to find Otacon's sisterend spoiler), but

Not only is it a nice alternative to the guns in some horror games, but also to the lack of any means of defense in other games. The idea of not being able to fight back is interesting and worked well in some games, like Amnesia, but it feels like so many horror games are now going that route, and it can be boring.

Still playing Metal Gear Solid 2. Will probably have it finished up by the weekend. I really like the story a lot. I can see why people were mad about the switch to Raiden as a protagonist, because he's definitely not as cool as Snake, but he's still entertaining as a character, and Snake is still a pretty major

Exactly. While I enjoy the idea of stricter roguelikes, the lack of concrete progression is a huge blow to my enjoyment.

Good to hear about future games!

I've only been playing it on and off for about a week, so I'll probably want to eventually try and make more progress, but for the time being I'm really just enjoying the gameplay and upgrade loop without even attempting the bosses every time I encounter them. Good call on backing out of a room, though. I've

I've already screwed up a no-kill run, but I'm trying to be as non-lethal as possible. I really appreciate that addition, and honestly it would probably be the thing that makes me most likely to do another play through!

Is it reasonable to attempt Arkham Horror without much background in tabletop gaming? It looks so fun but I'm not sure if it would be a decent intro into that kind of game.

Continuing to play Metal Gear Solid 2. Having a really fun time with it so far. Raiden and Rose are super annoying together, but it's kinda funny that the game at least somewhat recognizes that. I also love Snake as "Plisken." First of all, for the incredibly obvious Escape from New York reference, but it's also just

Probably making my way through Metal Gear Solid 2 some more. Having fun with it so far!

I keep watching videos of people playing Rocket League and really want to get into it, but I'm slightly nervous because it's been out so long and I feel like most people playing will just absolutely destroy me.

Yeah, as of now I am fully expecting to spend money on Return to Arkham even though I already own Asylum and City on PS3 and, to be honest, wasn't even super crazy about City. I still thought it was a ton of fun, but I loved the pacing of Asylum so much. I'm a big fan of tight game design and pacing. Most of the time

I am 100% on board that the epilogue was unnecessary and probably overly sweet and cheesy, but as somebody who is a sucker for that kind of thing, I was smiling ear-to-ear the entire time. Especially after following Nate and Elena and Sully's stories for years now, it just felt pleasant and all warm and fuzzy. Loved

Beat Uncharted 4 this week. Absolutely loved it. I really really enjoyed the open combat areas where you could stealth kill every enemy, or even sneak past every single guard and not kill anybody at all. Obviously because it's Uncharted, I still had to kill some people, but I enjoyed that there was at least some

UNCHARTED 4. I've loved this series for years and I'm loving 4 so far. Everything about it is just what I've wanted. I've also been playing Final Fantasy IX with a friend for a few months now. It's one of his favorite games of all time, and he wanted me to experience it, so I've been going through it while he watches.

Glad to hear you liked the multiplayer! I'm waiting to beat the story before diving into that, but I'm excited to try it out. I'm not much of a multiplayer guy in general, but that's mostly because I never had the same console as any of my friends until this gen. I was always a PlayStation guy and all my friends were
