Switch to a cheaper brand. I recommend Wood Varnish.

That would be suuuuuuuuper gay.

Upvoted for Richard Hell and Blank Generation. In fact slot the album right after Sex Pistols, that'll make a great compare/contrast

Sounds like I REALLY need to read Astro City.

That fight scene, while short, was awesome.

In my mind All-Star Superman is the last story of the Johns/Morrison "Modern Superman", in precisely the same way that "Whatever Happened to the Man of Tomorrow" is the last story for Silver-Age Superman. Just a perfect end to the life of a character.

Ooh, never thought of that dichotomy. Good observation.

This stems from John Byrne's post CoIE Man of Steel reboot, explicitly to make him American born.

My opinion of FFVIII would be infinitely higher if Squall had that pothead roommate the author imagined.

Double fuck that, I'd watch her as THE Boss in a Snake Eater movie.

I'd kill for a store that sold jeans in a 26-inch waist. I'm 5'8", 120 pound guy; not many stores in the states make anything that fits me well.

I fucking hate Waking Life but love many of Linklater's films. WL is just one big circlejerk with rotoscoping. I watched it stoned in college and I STILL found it utterly pointless.

Depends on the systemic policies being implemented. For a faux-Socalist/Capitalist system UBI could only be one part of a set of state-provided services (national health care, affordable housing programs, stronger labor laws that focus on the real needs of workers, etc.) and as such wouldn't need to be a very large

"…what motivates the millions of Americans (many of them former Democrats) who come out in record numbers to vote for somebody like Donald Trump."

Well, that explains a lot. I'd like for some of that lefty political sensibility to permeate his comics more though.

DnA's Guardians (and entire Cosmis run from Annihilation to Thanos Imperative) is solid gold comics that anyone into Marvel's Cosmic stuff needs to read.

Jurgens does journeyman work most of the time and good-to-great work sometimes (Booster Gold). However, since Jurgens was writing Action during the Death of Superman nonsense that should disqualify him from ever writing a Superman book again.

This sounds pants-on-head moronic.

"Power Doesn't Run on Nothing."
