Ill just leave this here.

“I have Parkinson’s Disease and Asthma. Plus I’m 56 years old. So don’t lecture me on risk.”

So the guy making all the money is willing to literally die to make more, therefore everyone else making minimum wage should be willing to die too (and/or potentially kill others) in order to help him. What an unconscionable

Holy shit. I was fully expecting another company that wasn’t taking the problem seriously (or not as seriously as their lost profits, anyway) but to push outright dangerous pseudoscientific bullshit like this to their employees? That’s a whole new level of low.

Remember: When ruled by a money-hungry ruling class, there is no such thing as compassion, morality, or sympathy - unless its towards them and their wealth, of course. You’re just expendable and “volunteer builders” for their virus-free sanctuaries as you continue working for these people for rice money.

ok boomer.

Its amazing how some folks find it hard to believe that other folks making $10 an hour with no savings would want to keep working...

This was probably the plan all along. They wanted to stay open just until the launches of Doom Eternal and Animal Crossing.

And finally a conclusion to our thrilling saga.  Good on them for doing the right thing,  after a few wrong things,  but still.

That innovative approach also don’t merit a living wage, apparently.

Double translation: Laziness and cutting corners is another way of working smarter and more efficiently.

...So wait, haven’t studies shown after all these years that playing video games actually massively enhances problem solving skills and general mental acuity?

I had to double-check the date to make sure this wasn’t April 1. It’s been April 1 for more than 3 years.

Hello fellow young people. I am hip with the language of young people. What with your paralax skipping and invisible walls.

Flossing and dabbing are actually the cure, but the Boomers will never know...

Here’s a fun game I like to play, it’s called “Surely they didn’t actually say that” and it goes like this: whenever you see a headline claiming that someone in the Trump administration said something insanely stupid, you say to yourself “Surely they didn’t actually say that”, then you read the article. If they

I have the attitude of someone who has a 9 year-old daughter and knows precisely the value of both the playset in question and a Nintendo Switch.

You don’t seem to have the attitude toward a LEGO set that one would expect from someone writing for Kotaku.

I’d be interested in an article regarding why China and to some extent Korea have such a fundamentally different attitude to Pay2Win games. I can’t even imagine how it’s possible to spend that much on a game, much less so why someone WOULD.

As someone who really enjoyed the beta program, the actual product is disappointing. I get that there’s a free version that goes up to 1080p, but if I ever do get a 4K display, I don’t want to shell out a subscription service on top of paying $60 for a game. It defeats the selling point of it being more cost effective

I personally find it mildly amusing that Epic is giving away a game or two a week to entice people over to their platform and Google is over here charging full price for relatively old games that still need to be streamed.
