Engineer with work vehicle here: “all seasons means all seasons”, thus they decide not to allow any of us to get snow tires... summer tires they’ll usually let you swap out for all seasons. Definitely some truth in that. Many sports suffer from that as well but the difference is you can still see everything from your seat. The track’s a bit bigger and with cameras all over anymore, you can choose what you want to see and at what time during the event, provided it’s broadcast.
