It isn’t Chibnall’s preachiness that gets to me, though that does get tiresome. It is the frequently bad writing -- plot lines simply abandoned in mid arc, and here the whole principle of time travel completely rewritten after 50 years to satisfy a preachiness point.

I must be the only person in the world who thought 1984 was godawful. I stopped watching with 5 episodes left.  It went beyond camp into idiocy.

If he can undo the bullshit JJ Abrams wrought, that would be a mighty thing.

Ted Danson is a jewel.

It is already better written than the entirety of last season. A lot of very good actors were let down by an awful lot of very bad writing.
